A series-high 5.3 million watched Game Of Thrones in its first run at 9 PM, marking the third week in a row the third season of the fantasy drama hit a new record. On April 21, the show drew 4.9 million viewers. The series debuted its latest season March 31 with 4.4 million viewers. Overall, Game Of Thrones was seen by 6.7 million over all its plays Sunday night. Airing at 10 PM, the Julia Louis-Dreyfus starrer Veep garnered 1.3 million viewers, up from 1.1 million on April 21 and 1.2 million for the season debut April 14.

We see Ben Affleck’s Batman assembling his own team of superheroes – including Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Superman and The Flash. Release date: 17 November 2017 King Arthur: Legend of the Sword Guy Ritchie has given his testosterone-fuelled treatment to the old English legend. Using very much the vernacular of modern times (“me and the lads took care of a bit of business,” says Charlie Hunnam’s Arthur at one point), and a hefty budget, Ritchie tells the tale of a young ruffian who learns of the royal birthright that was stolen from him. The glittering cast also includes Jude Law, Aidan Gillen, Eric Bana, Katie McGrath and, er, David Beckham.

Release date: 10 February 2017 Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them This JK Rowling adaptation is set in the same universe as Harry Potter and stars Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander – the author of one of the textbooks that the students use at Hogwarts. The film takes place in Twenties New York and sees magizoologist Newt lose some of his fantastical beasts while on a brief stopover in America. Release date: 18 November 2016 A new teaser trailer for Marvel’s Luke Cage TV series, coming soon to Netflix, was unveiled on Friday during the show’s panel. To the sounds of Ol’ Dirty Bastards Shimmy Shimmy Ya, we see Power Man’s (Mike Colter) seemingly invincible hero on the streets of Harlem, where he rips off a car door, walks through a hail of bullets and kick down a steel-barred door.




Release date: 30 September 2016 It’s only brief but this teaser trailer for Netflix’s forthcoming Iron First series, reveals Finn Jones as Danny Rand, who loses his family as a young boy but is raised by monks in the Himalayas. Another surprise teaser released during the Luke Cage panel was for this forthcoming mini-series. Set to Nirvana’s Come as You Are, the brief clip gave little away about the Marvel superhero series but is still worth a watch. The first full trailer from Jordan Vogt-Roberts’s reboot of King Kong was debuted during Saturday’s Warner Bros panel. Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L Jackson and John Goodman star in this Seventies set-action flick which sees the group go on a “survey trip” and stumble across a monster from a bygone time. Release date: 10 March 2017 We’re less than a fortnight away from DC Comics and Warner Bros’s highly anticipated anti-hero flick but Comic-Con fans were treated to a new trailer during the film’s panel anyway.




Director David Ayer told the crowd “It’s About a Boy as directed by Michael Mann”, before revealing the action packed three-minute teaser.
