REQUIREMENTS: You’ll need to find, buy and activate at least 1 out of the 5 “Studs Score Multiplier Red Bricks” to get the needed extra Studs. — The 5 Red Bricks that increase your money (named the “Studs Score Multiplier” Red Bricks) can be found in the first 5 levels of the game.
All you have to do is go to either of the two Red Brick Stations and buy each Red Brick for 1 to 5 million Studs, or use the cheat we’re about to give you to get the 1st of the 5 Red Bricks for free. Red Brick Station Locations: By playing through the first five levels of the game as Plastic Man, you’ll be able to activate his special Plastic Man pad to grab each level’s Red Brick. The cheat to unlock Plastic Man as a playable character is “H2VB8Z“. Once you grabbed the Red Bricks, you’ll need to buy them for 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 million Studs (per Red Brick respectively) in the Batcave’s right-side Trophy Room at the Red Brick Station OR in the Watchtower at the Red Brick Station. Then activate the Red Brick cheat(s) in the pause menu’s cheat section. Cheat Code Unlock: While you’re playing, pause the game. You can enter codes from the Main Menu by selecting “Extras” and then “Enter Code” using this cheat: 5MZ73E. Whether you buy the “Studs Score Multiplier x2” Red Brick or use the cheat, either way it will unlock new in-game money cheats, that you can then activate via the game’s pause menu.
This next video shows where you can enter these cheats in-game: STEP 1: Use our Lego Batman 3 Red Bricks Locations Guide to find all 5 “Studs Score Multiplier” Red Bricks. STEP 2: After you’ve bought the first score multiplier Red Brick, they will become increasingly expensive (they cost 1, 2, 3, 4 to 5 million Studs). So after you buy the first “Studs x2” Red Brick (or get it for free using the cheat mentioned above) you should activate it right away as you play through the Story Levels, and the following Bonus Level & open world hub areas shown in our Lego Batman 3 Walkthrough that contain the Red Brick locations you need to find (to then unlock the money cheats)… And if you have enough money at this point (after finishing the game) you should be able to buy all 5 of these “Studs Score Multiplier” Red Bricks and activate each cheat after you buy it (as described above). STEP 3: Turn on all 5 “Studs Score Multiplier” Red Bricks to multiply every single Stud you collect times 3,840!!
STEP 4: You can increase your Studs total in the open world hub areas by smashing stuff (like boxes) into Studs as you walk through the environments. This is like farming Studs, because if you keep traveling back and forth between the Batcave, Watchtower, Moon Base and Lantern Planets, then the boxes and other Studs-filled items will re-appear in each area! So you can keep smashing them for more Studs! You can of course also replay levels in Free Play OR as shown at the top of this page keep replaying VR Mission Snake 1, since once all 5 these Red Bricks are turned on you’ll always speed up your Stud collecting to 3,840 times as fast. STEP 5: Now repeat the previous step over and over (or play the game as you normally would) to get lots of money! Then you can use that money to buy all the vehicles and characters you want. After finding a red brick (there is one hidden in each of the 16 story levels, it must be purchased in either the Batcave or Watchtower's Trophy Room to unlock the cheat.
Four of the cheats (Mini Characters, Unlimited Light, Unlimited Fuel, and Unlimited Electricity) do not have a hidden Red Brick to find. They can be purchased from the beginning of the game. Near the end of the first area where you tear down the bars and see Croc running, above where Adam West is in the water, fly up to the platform above you. Once there, switch to Plastic Man and stand on the pad square for him. This will then cause the red brick to come out through the pipe next to you. At the start of the level just go left a little and there will be a spot for characters to investigate such as Batman or Martian Manhunter. It will reveal a pad for Plastic Man to interact with. Doing so grant you the red brick. Once you're inside the Watchtower, fly to the far right platform where you will see a lever to pull down. Doing so will spawn some bricks that when built make a Plastic Man Pad. Interacting with it while using Plastic Man will get you the red brick. In the third area, the battle against Joker and Luthor, there will be a square to your left for Plastic Man to interact with.
Doing so will take you to the outer walkway behind the force field. Follow the walkway to the right all the way to the other side. Once there switch to a character that can go invisible (e.g. Batman) and pull down the lever, shutting off the laser. Next use Plastic Man on the his pad to break a hole in the wall revealing the next red brick. Next use Plastic Man on the his pad to break a hole in the wall revealing the next red brick. Towards the end of the second area you will reach a Deflect Pad for Wonder Woman to stand on. Right behind it there are some red and yellow canisters to break. Doing so will reveal bricks that when put together make a Plastic Man Pad. Interact with it using Plastic Man to reveal the red brick. Use magnet power to pull apart the pipe near the starting point. Interact with the resulting bricks to build a Plastic Man Pad. Use the pad and Plastic Man will turn into a bulldozer and destroy a few foreground objects resulting in a few hopping bricks. Interact with the bricks to build a pump.
Jump on the level three times and the Red Brick will appear. In the second area, just past the giant phone booth, use a laser to destroy the gold panel on the building in the back right. Have Plastic Man use the pad and he'll transform in to a firetruck, put out the fire and nab you your Red Brick. In the fourth area where you have the final battle against Brainiac's ship, head all the way over to the right and destroy a few objects in the foreground to find a mound of dirt. Use a character who can dig to unearth the bricks needed to build a Plastic Man Pad. When Plastic Man uses the pad he'll transform into a dinosaur and get you your Red Brick. In the third area where you fight the Zamaron Beast, fly up to the lantern and you'll find a Swamp Spot at it's base. Send Grundy in to dig up a Plastic Man Pad. When Plastic Man uses the pad, he'll deface the lantern which somehow earns you a Red Brick. In the second area, fire Brainiac's shrink ray at the boulder to the left of the creature that has Saint Walker.
Underneath the boulder is a Plastic Man Pad. Have Plastic Man use the pad and he'll show off his mad topiary skills. Use a character with a sonic attack to bust the shrubbery's glasses to earn a Red Brick. In the third area, during the final battle against Indigo-1, head into the background to find a Plastic Man Pad under some debris in front of the swirling vortex. Use the pad and Plastic Man will transform into a feather to knock over a statue and reveal a Red Brick. We would have gone with a sledgehammer or something but hey, whatever works. At the start of the second area you'll find a Techno Panel in the foreground. Use it to obtain the bricks with which to construct the Plastic Man Pad. After using the pad, Plastic Man will turn into a tank and knock down a silver boulder. Bust it open with an explosive attack to claim you Red Brick prize. In the second area, use an explosive attack to destroy the grate to the left of the Deflect Pad (the one on the right side of the temple) to find the Plastic Man Pad.
