Earlier this week Amazon had announced that it will also be getting new stock and promised some "exciting announcements" regarding the Nintendo Classic Mini.The news was shared via the Amazon games twitter account, which told fans:"NES Classic fans: we've got a couple exciting announcements to make in the coming week. Stay tuned for more info soon!"However for those of you who don't know Amazon has some physical stores. But only three of them. And it turned out it was only these stores who were selling the NES stock.Which is a bit pointless and as Twitter user @Tomweech so eloquently put it: "Sweet! The world's largest e-commerce company is selling NES Classics at 3 physical locations only."However, there's still hope elsewhere. According to Smyths, who you might also know as a toy retailer, there should be NES Classic Mini stock coming this week.Replying to one prospective customer who asked when the NES would be back in Stock, the AskSmythsToys Twitter account said:"Not at the moment but it should be coming into stock sometime this week!"
This was also followed by another tweet from AskSmythsToys, which provided a little more detail: "It's coming into stores between 9-14 Dec, we don't know exactly when in this timeframe! Finally, Argos - who earlier this week removed the Nintendo NES Classic Mini from their website - might not be selling the product at any point before Christmas.Previously the @ArgosHelpers had said that Argos were expecting "more stock around 9/12/2016".Since then, nothing has been mentioned and no stock has transpired.And in the last 24 hours the @ArgosHelpers on Twitter have completely changed their stance.One customer representative said in response to a question on Twitter: "I'm really sorry however this item has been discontinued as we had limited stock only."
Another @ArgosHelper replied: "we have been advised that is no plan at the moment of more stock coming in", while a third said: "Sadly, there is no plan of getting more stock in :(.
