First up is the Bizarro World Pack, which will form the fourth instalment of the game's ongoing six-part DLC Season Pass. To save Bizarro's home planet from evil, players will join the ranks of the Bizarro League. If you didn't know, the Bizarro League was formed when Bizarro attempted to clone the Justice League using an unfinished Duplicator Ray, which he stole from Lex Luthor. New minifigs include Bizarro (cloned Superman) and Bizarra (cloned Wonder Woman). The second batch of DLC will be free to download, and will concentrate on the female characters of the DC Universe, both super heroines and villainesses. What they should really be doing is bundling their DLC with Minifigs and selling it in stores. If folks want to spend $2.99 apiece only for the six promised packs, then more power to them. And I suppose saving three dollars by pre-purchasing the promise of DLC is an okay option as well. But if I were in charge of a company that had access to the awesome combination of LEGO and DC Comics characters, I'd be putting toys on store shelves.

I would purchase every single one of them. Most hardcore LEGO Minifig collectors would, which includes those who have no interest in playing LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. And thus my evil plan to get LEGO to release a 75th anniversary Detective Comics #27 Batman Minifigure will have come to fruition! But no, my evil plans never work out. At least $14.99 for six packs of DLC isn't terrible. Yup, it's the Suicide Squad. Only that's not what they're going to be called in the Lego Batman 3 add-on coming early next year. There, they're going by The Squad. Look, with the Lego Batman titles being a reliable video game refuge for parents and younger kids, the decision here makes a certain sort of sense. Had Amanda Waller's team of bad guys shown up under their original name, thousands of kids would be asking mommy and daddy what suicide means.

The line-up of characters showing up in Lego Batman 3 isn't exactly the same as the Suicide Squad that will be in the upcoming live-action movie.
