"So, the final battle will be here, over your puny world, Green Lantern?" ―Sinestro in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Sinestro is a Super Heroes minifigure who first appeared in LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. He was released physically in 2015 in the set 76025 Green Lantern vs. Sinestro, which is based on the video game,LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, which also features Green Lantern and Batman. This article or section is incomplete. Please improve the article, or discuss the issue on the talk page. Sinestro has a black hair-piece that is slicked-back and has pointed, purple ears attached, similar to the Werewolf's from the Minifigures theme . His head and hands are also purple, representing his skin colour in some comics. He has sunken, yellow eyes, slanting eyebrows, and a moustache with a frown underneath. He has a muscular yellow torso decorated with the patterns of his Yellow Lantern appearance, including the fear symbol on his chest. He has black arms and legs, but the bottom of his legs are decorated with the pattern of his yellow boots.

He carries a yellow ring, similar to the one used in The Lord of the Rings which glows and leaves a yellow streak behind him. Thaal Sinestro was once considered to be the greatest Green Lantern of them all, famous for establishing total peace within his space sector, 1417. He was specifically assigned by the Guardians of the Universe to mentor the new human recruit, Hal Jordan, and the two became friends. Over time however, as Sinestro became more and more stressed with his work, he started employing more questionable methods to ensure that peace was kept within his sector. Hal discovered this upon a diplomatic mission to Korugar, Sinestro's home planet, with him and saw that the Korugarans were 'kept in check' by living in fear of him and being forced to worship him. Sinestro was accused of these crimes, and Hal had no choice but to testify against him, so Sinestro was banished and swore revenge on the Green Lantern Corps. With the help of the Weaponers of Qward, he forged a Yellow Power Ring for himself, giving him the absolute power of fear.

Eventually, he would form his own Sinestro Corps and become the arch-nemesis of the Green Lantern. In the console version, Sinestro is a boss at the Metro Station (Central), and an achievement/trophy can be obtained if the player uses Green Lantern to defeat him. After his defeat, he can be purchased for 125,000 studs. In the portable version, Sinestro is unlocked for Free Play by completing the Arkham Nightmare Justice League mission. Sinestro reappears in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and is part of the main story. Sinestro, along with Arkillo and Sinestro Corps Warrior can be unlocked via free play, in the mission "Aw-Qward Situation" Once a member of the Green Lantern Corps and mentor to Hal Jordan, Sinestro was stripped of his ring when he used his powers to rule his home planet of Korugar. Now, with a yellow power ring fueled by the fear, he is the leader of his own Sinestor Corps; waging war on his former Green Lantern comrades. EditMinikit 1 Shoot down five asteroids to earn a Minikit.

You can see one in the above screen to the right of the enemy counter. EditMinikit 2 Shoot down the silver ship that flies along the bottom of the screen (you can see it in the bottom right corner of the above screen) with a missile to earn a Minikit. Missiles can be picked up from defeated enemy ships. Fly around and shoot the various enemies until Sinestro creates a Train construct to menace you. Destroy enemy fighters until you collect a missile then fire it at the train. Four hits will do it in. EditMinikit 3 Find and pull five red steam whistles (jump while underneath to pull them down) to earn a Minikit. EditMinikit 4 (Free Play) Use the Techno Terminal near the starting point then interact with the resulting bricks to build a Flash Pad. Use the pad to nab a Minikit. EditMinikit 5 (Free Play) Look for a brown pipe sticking out of the ground (it's in the foreground on the other side of the bridge). Shrink The Atom and send him down the pipe to find a Minikit. Head across the bridge and use Batman's Power Suit to blast apart the silver part of the drill.

Interact with the resulting bricks to build an object with green handles. Switch to Grundy and have him manhandle the handles to clear the way forward. EditAdam West in Peril West is being held captive behind a wall of red laser bars. Use Wonder Woman's lasso to control the bad guy and force him to pull the nearby switch to release dear old Adam. Use Batman's Electricity Suit to insulate him against the current and make your way across the conveyor that's smashing gold bars. Wait for the nearest piston to smash a gold block then hop on the flattened block and follow it across to avoid being flattened yourself. EditCharacter Token - Arkillo (Free Play) Before crossing the conveyor, use magnet power on the nearby blue object to release a few bricks. Interact with them to build a Techno Terminal and activate it to open a nearby container. You'll find a Character Token inside. EditMinikit 6 (Free Play) Past the conveyor is a vent in the ground. Destroy the stuff on top and send Plastic Man or Martian Manhunter through.

Head towards the security cameras and grapple the orange plug to pull yourself up to the ledge. Don the Electricity Suit and move left along the ledge until you reach the Electricity Terminal. Drain the power so Grundy can join you on the other side of the conveyor. EditMinikit 7 There's a Minikit hiding under the right side of the conveyor belt with the smashing pistons. Use Wonder Woman's flying ability to grab it. In the next area, a Yellow Lantern will fire a laser at you. Hide behind the gold object half buried in the dirt and get him to blow it up. This will expose a Deflect Pad. Have Wonder Woman use the pad and deflect the laser back at him. EditCharacter Token - Sinestro (Free Play) Use Brainiac's shrink ray to on the black, sparkly rock near where you fight the Yellow Lantern to uncover a Techno Panel.

Follow the onscreen prompts to win the fight. Switch to Batman and equip his Sensor Suit. Use it by the swarm of bats to uncover a cracked piece of ground. Switch to Grundy and smash through it.  Head down the path and you'll catch up with Sinestro. Follow the onscreen prompts to free Green Lantern. EditMinikit 8 Destroy the gold statue in the nook on the wall to earn a Minikit. EditMinikit 9 Switch to Green Lantern and fly back to the bottom of the hole everyone just dropped down.

Destroy the bones nearby and interact with the resulting bricks to build a Lantern Pad. Use the pad to earn a Minikit. EditMinikit 10 Fly Green Lantern back through the level past the conveyor with the pistons and dig in the various dirt mounds in front of the cell that was holding Adam West to uncover some hopping bricks. Interact with the bricks to earn a Minikit. Fly Green Lantern over to the right and smash the objects near the security camera. Interact with the resulting bricks to build a Lantern Pad and use it to activate a conveyor your buddies can use to reach you. Switch to Batman and have him ride one of the boxes on the conveyor. Jump at the end of the belt to join up with Green Lantern. Use Batman's Sensor Suit to turn invisible and sneak past the security cameras. Grapple the orange plug in the elevator shaft to create an updraft. Ride the draft to the upper walkway.  Cross the rotating walkway then switch to the Electricity Suit and deposit the charge in the Electricity Terminal.
