Fifty Shades Darker likewise held steady in the runner-up spot with $6.8 million for an eight-day total of $75.5 million. The Great Wall debuted to an underwhelming $5.9 million yesterday, coming in just ahead of John Wick: Chapter 2‘s $4.17 million (giving it $46.4 million in all so far). Fist Fight rounded out the top five with an opening day of $3.805 million. Meanwhile, A Cure for Wellness scored a disappointing $1.52 million first day in eighth place. Three-day and key four-day weekend projections are listed below. Check back on Sunday for the studios’ own three-day estimates, followed by their four-day estimates on Monday. Friday Update: Sources report The Great Wall pulled in an estimated $970,000 from Thursday night’s opening shows. By comparison, last year’s Gods of Egypt earned $800,000 on Thursday before going on to a $14.1 million opening weekend. That, however, was a standard three-day frame versus Wall‘s four-day advantage with Presidents Day on Monday. Fist Fight drew second blood last night with an estimated $600,000 take, coming in just under half of Ride Along 2‘s $1.26 million Thursday start before MLK weekend last year when it earned $41 million over that four-day period. Meanwhile, A Cure for Wellness took in $300,000 from its first shows, slightly under the $350,000 earned by The Lazarus Effect in early 2015 which was part of a regular $10.2 million three-day weekend. All told, The LEGO Batman Movie remains heavily favored to repeat atop the box office this weekend, while Fifty Shades Darker has a shot to repeat in second place, and even John Wick: Chapter 2 could be a challenge for Great Wall to overcome.

Titanfall 2 is a great game, but like any other title, it’s being constantly patched with new updates and fixes. Today, EA released an update for the game’s multiplayer that nerfs the overpowered Map Hack ability and rebalances both Tone and Legion titans.
The patch is server-side, so you won’t have to download anything. Map Hack is one of the abilities that Pilots can equip, which reveals where enemies are. The problem with it wasn’t so much that it was useful, it was that it was too overpowered as players could spam it incessantly. The patch makes it so that the skill will now instead pulse instead of being always online. Tone and Legion are also extremely powerful compared to the other Titans available, making them default picks for many players. The new update intends to scale them to be more in line with the other Titans, although the developer did not elaborate exactly how. The patch also adds the ability to create a solo private match so you can run around and check things out on your own. Map Hack: Rebalanced Map Hack so that player locations will now pulse instead of always on.
