To get the mini-kits required for each level, you’ll need to play through each mission in Free Play mode after the campaign is first completed.
Not only do you need to switch to other characters, you’ll first need to have certain characters unlocked and available in your stable. You’ll need The Penguin, Aquaman, The Joker, The Riddler, Man-Bat, Lex Luthor, and Poison Ivy to get all the mini-kits. It is part 8 of our story walkthrough for LEGO Batman 2 featuring Superman as he helps Batman and Robin who are dealing with Lex and The Joker's vehicle. EditCitizen in Peril (Free Play) On the front of the ship is some poor shmuck stuck on a blue flagpole. Use magnet power to haul him in to safety. EditMinikits Destroy the 2 gold ornaments on the front of Luthor’s craft. EditCheckpoint – Inside Luthor’s Craft After taking care of the mini gunship inside of Luthor’s craft, destroy the two boxes on the right and build with the LEGO blocks inside.
Pull the resulting lever and voila! Use Lex’s Deconstructor on the circular doors on either side of the lift in the room where you fought the mini gunship. Head inside and deconstruct the two boxes inside. Stand on the two orange buttons and the silver cage on the ceiling will yield its Minikit. Destroy 3 kryptonite boxes. On the left side of the door you cut a bat shape out of. It’s in the room where Robin uses a Ball Socket to play a wall-mounted video game. Deconstruct the door on the right side of the third room. The last kryptonite box is inside. Bust the glass covering on the left side of the second room, near the ceiling. Open the Joker Box on the left side of the third room. Head inside, don the Hazard Suit and clean the sludge off the lever. Pull it when it’s clean, then put on the Acrobat Suit and use the Ball Socket to play the video game on the wall. Drive the black spider-looking thing into 10 green spider-looking things to win a Minikit. Deconstruct the box on the right side of the third room and have Green Lantern build with the green LEGO blocks within.
Deconstruct the door on the right side of the third room and head inside. Destroy the boxes on the far side of the room and build with the bricks inside. The Minikit will appear by the door. Destroy the five red lights on the wall with a Batarang to unlock the Minikit in the middle of the room above the floor fan. Deconstruct the box next to the LexBot dispenser on the left side of the fourth room. Pull the Orange Handle behind it. EditCitizen in Peril On the roof, fly Green Lantern over to the far left. A citizen is being harassed on the top level of the structure over there. EditMinikits (Free Play) Use Lex’s Deconstructor on the big, black object at the very start of the level then put the bricks back together using the Flash. Destroy the gold object at the start of the stage with Cyborg’s laser eye. Use Aquaman to clean up 5 bits of Joker graffiti. On the far right side of the 1st floor. Just past the gold door on the 2nd floor. On the 3rd floor next to the magnet track.
On the 4th floor (the one right after the elevator shaft on the left side of the building) next to the big, blue electrical conduit. Send Poison Ivy through the Flower Pad on the 4th floor. The last bit of Joker graffiti is inside. Ride the little rocket ship on the 2nd floor. Use Lex’s Deconstructor on the door to the right of the Batwing. Walk inside and deconstruct the vehicle itself to get at the Minikit inside. It's hiding in the room behind the Electricity Suit Pad. Send Poison Ivy through the Flower Bed on the 4th floor. Destroy the four purple balls inside. EditCheckpoint – On the Roof Fill the tank on the right side of the roof with water from Robin’s Hazard Suit. The Minikit will float out of the tank over on the left. Destroy the objects on the level beneath the Citizen in Peril. Use Lex’s Deconstructor to remove the covering on the object to the right of the orange missile launcher you build over on the left side of the roof (the giant robot’s third location).
