The Joker is the main antagonist in the 1960s TV show Batman and the 1966 film. He was portrayed by the late Cesar Romero. His first ever role apart from the comic books was in the 1960s Batman (TV Series). He was portrayed by Cesar Romero. The Joker also appeared in the 1966 Batman film adapted from the series, entitled Batman: The Movie. This version of the Joker wasn't the murderous Joker. He was a prankster and his weapons were only his squirting flower which shoots out sneezing powder and water and his joy buzzer. His fighting skills are terrible and this is how he gets beaten up. The Joker was the Clown Prince of Crime and one of his first goals was to unmask Batman and publicly expose his identity. Some of his crimes were for little more than goofy amusement, while others were far more dangerous. Some time later, Joker teamed up with Penguin, Catwoman and Riddler to form the United Underworld, to disband the United Nations. His role in the Combination Trap (that was devised by the Riddler) was the Jack-in-the-Box to send Batman flying toward the Penguin's exploding octopus;

however, one of the unnamed thugs fell onto the jack in the box and was killed by the exploding octopus. The four super criminals managed to dehydrate the nine members of the United World Security Council and take them to the submarine, however Batman and Robin draw it to the surface, where the Dynamic Duo fight the United Underworld. After taking several beatings from Batman, Robin fights the Joker and defeats him by punching him over the edge, into the water. He is captured along with the other criminals when Batman and Robin chain them to the side of the submarine and Batman calls the coast guard where the police can take them to prison. His many schemes after this included committing crimes based on the signs of Zodiac, stealing the famous Renaissance art collection for ransom and trying to take over Gotham City with a flying saucer. He can also easily persuade women to help him in his crimes with his charm and wits. Even though Batman defeated him many times, the felonious funnyman never rested until the last laugh was his.

A small town in the late 1940s. Barber Ed, realising his wife Doris is having an affair, plots blackmail, but nothing goes according to plan and Doris is arrested for murder. Meanwhile, Ed is strangely interested in Birdy, a teenage pianist he believes could be a star. The Coen brothers continue to riff off the styles of great American crime writers, following their Dashiell Hammett (Miller's Crossing) and Raymond Chandler (The Big Lebowski) films, with this variation on themes by James M. Cain. Early film versions of Cain's Double Indemnity and The Postman Always Rings Twice streamlined his distinctive third acts, which seem like left-field sequels to the main stories. But here, the Cain homage carries through to The Man Who Wasn't There's strange finale, with the hero collapsing as ironies unnoticed earlier spin round to trap him. After the popular acceptance of the Coen style in such warm-ish movies as The Big Lebowski and O Brother, Where Art Thou?, this is a chilly film, in stark black and white, as if the brothers want to get back to their core audience.

Surrounded by motormouths, Ed - played by Thornton in a somehow disturbing toupee - keeps to himself. Sometimes he's distracted by tiny details or odd crusades, but usually he's uncommitted to any of his ambitions and unresentful of the worst that fate deals him. Ed refuses to take part in the story he is narrating or make any moral judgement at all, even on people who have done him enormous wrongs. The Coens' trademark wry dialogue is present, with a literary love for the odd, everyday turn of phrase, and the terrific cast fit in perfectly with the style. Devotees note: a spinning hubcap/flying saucer serves the visual function here that in earlier Coen films was taken by a hat, a hula-hoop, a tumbleweed and a tin of pomade. Slowly paced for a thriller and with a hero many will find off-putting, this is nevertheless a gripping, unusual and challenging work from the most consistently brilliant filmmakers of the last decade. Personally, I’ve never seen a UFO.  However, being someone who likes to believe in life on other planets, I can imagine plenty of other people have.

, there have been a number of sightings in the QCA over the years, including a few as recent as early April of this year. Here are the five most recent UFO sightings in the QCA I was able to find. 1. Viola, IL – April 15th, 2016 “Was headed home from getting a burrito. I was looking out the window south when I saw the object. When I first saw the object I thought it was a flare. It was moving from east to west very fast and it changed colors then disappeared. I was not sure what it was in my mind because flares don’t go in a horizontal line.” 2. Bettendorf, IA – March 20th, 2016 “My wife wanted to take a walk outside because it’s a clear night and as we got to our vehicles we live in open area beside the school and I looked up in the air as she was looking and I said it looks like it’s moving doesn’t it and she said it is moving then there’s no flashing lights but from the other direction a plane came at a lower elevation then she went to get our kids and

I watched it disappear into the light of the Moon then from the other direction another plan came.” 3. Moline, IL – March 11th, 2016 The summary he gives is quite long.  Basically, this man claims he saw multiple huge triangular objects in the air traveling at high speed.  Read his entire account at the link above. 4. Sterling, IL – January 24th, 2016 “20 pulsing orange orbs fly a few miles before disappearing.We have seen these crafts before. The orbs would appear in the same area of the sky, follow a straight line a few miles across, then disappear again. The orbs pulsed from a dark red to a bright orange. They were completely silent and they were roughly 23 of them before the last one disappeared” 5. Bettendorf, IA – January 14th, 2016 “Pulsating sphere no noise over the Mississippi river” Brie Larson Refuses to Clap at Casey Affleck’s Controversial Oscars Win Oscars Producers Accidentally Include Photo of Very-Much-Still-Alive Person in ‘In Memoriam’ Segment
