TomorrowlandBrad Bird discusses how he joined the film:Damon Lindelof was the one who really incepted it. He was talking with Sean Bailey, who was the President of Disney Pictures. They first just asked, “What does the word ‘Tomorrowland’ suggest?’ It’s one of those words that seems to spark people. Why does it spark people and what can you do with it? Other than playing into that word, there was no mandate to tell a certain story or not. Damon brought on Jeff Jensen and they basically spent six months coming up with a backstory of this whole other world.

Damon came in and did some very precise story work that I wanted done on “Mission: Impossible.” It was after the movie was basically shot and there was room for just a couple of days of reshoots to adjust some things I wanted fixed. Damon had very little wiggle room, but he was a very precise story surgeon, doing just enough to fix this little thing and that little thing and all the little things that I wanted fixed. I was really impressed with him and we were just talking and having lunch. I asked him what he was doing and he mentioned this project. He started talking about these ideas and was immediately drawn in. They had concocted the iceberg, but the tip that was going to be in the movie was still up for grabs.Viral/Amityville: The AwakeningBoth films have been given release dates. Jonathan Strange & Mr. NorrellPeter Harness discusses book writer Susanna Clarke’s involvement in the BBC adaptation: She wasn’t very involved with the process of adapting it. We sent her a nice letter when we started, from me, Toby, and Nick the producer, and she sent a very nice one back warning us not to get involved with magicians basically. She was quite firm on that actually! She didn’t think anyone should get involved with Mr Strange & Mr Norrell because they’re so very vain and selfish (laughs), and there have been times when they’ve been awful. But from that we knew she was supportive and not long before we started shooting she read the scripts and we went out and had a very nice dinner with her before we decamped up to Leeds, and I think she’s been delighted with it.

She became a fairly regular presence on set, and when they were shooting the York Minster sequence I came over with my wife and we all had a very fun few days wandering around the Minster watching everyone else work very hard, and feeling very relaxed about it!Heroes RebornGreg Grunberg will return as Matt Parkman for a guest arc on the show. Additional reporting by Diana Biller and Charlie Jane AndersAt last, I’m free to speak about one of the most exciting things that we’ve been squirreling away on at TT Games for LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, outside of everything that already makes the game such a fun and authentic Marvel title (yes, Squirrel Girl reference intended… sorry!). LEGO Marvel’s Avengers is getting some FREE, yes FREE, DLC content exclusively for all PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 players! And yes, believe it or not I’ve managed to keep a lid on this, I’m not quite sure how… but I have.

LEGO Marvel’s Avengers already features content from six epic Marvel films (and a plethora of content from the rest of the Marvel Universe, including a ton of characters from Marvel Comics), however, now PlayStation gamers will be able to add content from two more movies to their LEGO Marvel’s Avengers experience. So, I hear you all asking… what is this content exactly, and what makes it so exciting? (I don’t really hear you asking, it’s just a figure of speech, as I can imagine the thoughts that are in your head). Well, first up we have the Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War Character Pack, which will be available at launch on 26th January and includes nine characters – YES… NINE CHARACTERS – featured in the upcoming movie: Captain America, Iron Man (Mark 46 armour), Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Falcon, War Machine, Scarlet Witch and my personal favorites, Crossbones and Agent 13. It’s a great pack that will hopefully get everyone as excited as I am about the film.

Obviously before you ask, YES, you will be able to take all of these characters into the main game, into the various levels or into the eight different open world locations. The second is the Marvel’s Ant-Man Character & Level Pack, of course based on the Ant-Man movie, which will be available later this spring. This pack features an awesome level based on a section of the film (which one? I hear you ask… well, that’s top secret so you’ll have to wait and see!). It also has 11 great characters, including Ant-Man (Scott Lang), Ant-Man (Hank Pym), Ant-Thony (Flying Ant), Cassie Lang, Darren Cross, Scott Lang, Hank Pym, Hope Van Dyne, Luis, The Wasp (Janet Van Dyne) and Yellowjacket. We are really bringing Ant-Man and Yellowjacket to life with all the abilities that you’d expect them to have. The team and I here at TT Games are positive you will really enjoy this DLC offering. When I watched the movie with the team, we really enjoyed it, so much so that I went back to watch it again the next day, and then saw the amazing playsets that LEGO created for the film.
