Our mission is to provide a fun and friendly environment where children can learn, experiment, and create. We offer after-school, summer camp, and weekend programs for kids 4-14 years old rooted in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) including robotics and computer programming. Created by an engineer and a former faculty from Carnegie Mellon University, MySTEM Academy has trained over 2,000 children in the past seven years through several K-8 schools in Sessions run from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Students work in pairs on themed projects such as rescue helicopter, bee pollinator, recycling trucks, and earthquake simulators. They use motors, sensors, and a variety of mechanical elements to build, modify, and program to bring their creations to life. also be introduced to Tynker Programming, a visual computer language used to create games and animations on a simple drag-and-drop environment. They will learn the basics of programming language such as sequences of commands, conditional structures, and loops.
