Buying latest Lego Robot Posts: 1550 Joined: Thu Oct 30, 2008 4:54 pm Re: Buying latest Lego Robot There are the "retail" version (the one you seem to have found already, it's usually called Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0) and the educational versions. The retail version does not include the recharcable Li-Ion battery which I recommend. What is the difference between the robot you get from the following two sources? To me both seem exactly same version "Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0" except the price?1. Price: £183.75, Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0http://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-8547-Minds ... 647&sr=8-1Also I had a look at the educational "9797 LEGO MINDSTORMS Education Base Set". To me this education set seem to contain everything that is contained in "Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0" plus the rechargable battery? Am I correct or am I missing something? This educational set is priced £245.93 while the Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 on amazon.co.uk is just £183.75. Is the extra money just for the rechargable battery?
