The Brickset Photography Guild - Share Your LEGO Photography Here! I would like to introduce 'The Brickset Photography Guild.' We have MOC thread on this forum but I thought why not photograhy? This thread will allow Brickset members to share and showcase their LEGO related photography here, whether it be minifigures, official LEGO sets or scenarios.

Today I will start this thread with my newest photo:"Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!" /photos/115928480@N03/sets/72157645425629189I look forward to seeing plenty of impressive photography! I don't think I've seen it, nor was it intentional. Thanks, please do share yours photos as well. I'm loving the accidental lighting of this car. I had a Luxo lamp and a video light in just the right places. I have shopped it slightly. "Riddle Me This Riddle Me That, Who's Afraid Of The Big, Black Bat?" - The RiddlerMaybe I´ll post some photos as well when I have time. The Dark Knight Tumbler Custom LEGO minifig team, all hand painted.https://youtu.be/exMXQykNtgw LEGO Back to the Future - DeLorean Time Machine Now your showing off! A shot I took several years ago when I had a lot of figures out to take inventory. I decided to put them all together and take a quick snapshot. I have a pretty bad camera, so I was surprised when it turned out so well with the lighting/angle.

Probably one of my favorite shots I've taken due to the fact it encompasses so many themes/figures.It did turn out well. Not mention the fact that you have a sizable collection of rare or exclusive minfigures. Can't say I've really photographed much Lego in recent times. Here's one from yesteryear. LEGO Tools, no builder is complete without them!Well I guess some individuals would also need the Sword of X-ACTO and a tube of Kragle, but those aren't LEGO :) @Adzbadboy Is that trans yellow stud neon? I've been looking for one forever, I keep getting neon green in the mail. For tools I always have my old dark grey brick separator and my green new brick separator, they both have good uses and it's always good to have two. Nope, it's all fairly common colours.I have loads of these Brick Separators, I never got the older ones. This one sucks because it's a nightmare to remove two smaller plates, the Technic Axle get's in the way! I hope they redesign it soon. I heard the new and the old make a perfect pair :)

"Ain't No Thing Like Me, Except Me!" - Rocket Raccoon Give me a break! Just spent the whole day looking for those droids. "Let's put a smile on that face!" - The Joker This was last years build- This year I am building another 1 at just shy of 10ft in Length with all new features.... Here is a little moc I put together for Project Sky :) These are all old ones I've posted here... I'm starting to run out, but I feel an urge to get my camera out again :) @Gurooo ;I really like the lighting effect you have in the background (e.g the Boxer and Gandalf).  Is that something you're actually doing with physical lighting, or is it a bit if software / post-processing electrickery? @BooTheMightyHamster No post-processing trickery, just shallow depth of field and some small lights hanging in the background. You need a lens with a low aperture number (sorry, at the moment I can't say that better in English). I have probably used aperture somewhere between 2.0-2.5, I guess.

I have a Olympus camera and a 50mm macro lens.Reading a little about depth of field and bokeh will maybe explain this better. Macro photography is a lot of fun! Here I used double exposure (still not a lot of post-processing), one exposure with high aperture (perhaps the highest I can use, 22.0, not sure) to get the sharp light in the middle, and one exposure with aperture 2.0 to get the blurry effect around them.(The SpongeBob pic is actually also double exposure, and the color and light in the background is light painting, I've been thinking about making a video that shows that tecnique, but I am not at all sure I will ever get around to it...) Dirt Bike Trooper"I'm a dirt bike trooper, not a foot soldier!" Aperture isn't the only thing that affects depth of field, so no need to worry. Both using a longer focal length and getting closer to the subject will decrease depth of field. Using a larger format will, as well, but that's generally not an option.
