We have a new leather couch and one of our cats started marking it, and to keep the hubby on good terms with the cat, I wanted to search for something besides that sticky crap to keep the couch looking fairly nice.These are nice clear, very shiny vinyl, weighted at 30 gauge I believe the packaging said. I used the sticky tape that was sent with these and it was hideous. Don't use that stuff on black leather. I really could go on about that awful tape, but I won't. Instead, I'll tell you that you should get Scotch Restickable Tabs 1 x 1 Inches (R100VPC), because they are virtually invisible, work well and don't make your couch look like a bad experiment from a 3 year old. I mean, we have a 3 year old, we could get away with that, but no...You can see in the picture the difference when I used the tape that came with the protectors, and where I used the Scotch clear tabs. The funky specks you see are where my kitty got to the couch before I did and which caused the kitty/hubby war of 2015.
