Even a cut Christmas tree may ooze sap. Pine tree sap is the type of substance you might never think about until it gets on your clothing, sleeping bag or outdoor furniture cushions. While this gooey mess seems to stick to everything, you can remove it from fabric. Removing it is a bit like removing chewing gum -- first, try to make it hard and brittle to snap it away, then liquefy or dissolve the rest to the point that it rubs right off the fabric. Place the fabric item, if small enough to fit, in the freezer for one or two hours or until the pine sap is brittle. If the object is too large for the freezer, cover the sap with a piece of wax paper, then set an ice pack or zippered sandwich bag full of ice cubes atop the wax paper until the sap hardens. Wiggle the fabric under the sap back and forth, or press down on it to crack the sap. Scrape off the sap with a plastic knife. Wrap a piece of packaging tape over your fingers sticky-side out and dab it over the remaining sap to remove it.

Apply a small amount of a citrus-based goo remover, such as the type used to remove sticker residue, over the sap, allowing it to soak in for several minutes. Wipe the sap and goo remover away with a damp cloth. Pour some rubbing alcohol onto a corner of a white soft cloth; using white ensures that no dye transfers over to the sap-ridden fabric. Dab the alcohol over the sap until the sap comes off. Add a little mild dish soap to another corner of the cloth dampened with water. Wipe the fabric to wash away any remaining residue. Rinse the white cloth, then wipe the previously sappy area once again. Allow to air dry. Mix a tablespoon of powdered non-bleach laundry detergent with just enough water to create a paste-like consistency using a spoon. Apply the detergent paste over any remaining sap stains and allow it to sit for 30 minutes. Wipe away the paste with a damp sponge. Allow the fabric to air dry. Want a glowing, even skin tone? Do you suffer from hyperpigmented skin? Does your skin look dull and tired?  If so, our IV Glutathione treatment can improve your skin tone! Our Intravenous Glutathione Skin Lightening Treatment can lighten your skin evenly.  Glutathione is administered via IV and is able to deposit evenly throughout the body.  Glutathione will swop up the oxidative damaged cells (which cause skin to darken) and lighten your skin naturally, safely, evenly and in a healthy manner. Glutathione is a very powerful anti-oxidant.  It rids the body of free radicals, toxins and oxidants.  Aside from the skin lightening/whitening capabilities of glutathione, glutathione also assists with detoxification pathways of the liver, and prevents oxidative damage.

Oxidative damage is attributed to diseases such as: Therefore, not only are you enhancing the luminosity of your skin, you are also preventing the preceding diseases and increasing the longevity of your cells! The amount of IV sessions of glutathione depends on how many shades lighter you want your skin tone to be.  One round of treatment is 10 IV’s that will be performed twice a week for 5 weeks. Typically one round of treatment (10 IV’s) can lighten the skin from 1 to 3 shades lighter. Depending on how light you would like your skin, you would need to commit to more rounds of treatment. Maintenance is required to maintain the lighter skin tone. Frequency will depend on your ability to maintain anti-oxidant levels.  The following factors will impede your results as they will increase oxidative stress: As this is a medical procedure, make sure you are well hydrated and have consumed a full meal before starting treatment. The doctor or medical assistant will assess your vitals (Blood pressure, pulse rate, oxygen saturation, temperature and urinalysis) to make sure treatment is viable.

The doctor will then start the IV treatment. During treatment you can relax in our lazy boy chairs and watch movies or TV shows,  read a book or take a nap! You will be monitored during treatment.  The treatment will take anywhere from 45min – 1.5 hours, depending on your veins.  At the end of treatment vitals are reassessed. Are there any side effects to the Intravenous Treatment? Side effects that may occur with an Intravenous Treatment are as follows:Many leather sofas have attached cushions, but you can still revamp their appearance. Because a leather sofa represents a significant financial investment, it needs to provide you with many years of useful service. Part of maintaining your leather couch's good looks and comfortable feel involves taking care of the cushions, which often requires adding or replacing the stuffing material. Even leather cushions attached or sewn to the frame -- tight-back cushions -- are easy to refresh when you know how to accomplish this seemingly daunting task.

Open It Before you can add filling to an existing leather sofa cushion or exchange an old, worn-out cushion core with a new replacement, you need to open up the cushion casing. Leather casings often have a hidden zipper, which allows you to easily open the cushion covering. Look at the bottom of the attached back cushions to see if you can discover camouflaged zippers. If you can't see one, run your fingers around the cushion casing to feel a cleverly concealed zipper. If you find a zipper, simply pull it open. If you can't locate a zipper, create your own opening by carefully opening a stitched side or bottom casing with a seam ripper. Plump It For loose-fill stuffing materials, such as synthetic fibers or down-and-feather mixtures, take a small amount of your desired stuffing and fill the empty interior space of each leather casing. Continue to add more filling materials until you have the look and comfort level you want. Down-and-feather stuffed cushions sometimes contain horizontal channels that are sewn along the inside of the casing to prevent the delicate stuffing from sinking to the bottom of the cushion cavity.

If that's the case, fill each channel with stuffing materials to plump the attached back cushions to your liking. Replace It A leather cushion casing filled with a single polyurethane foam core requires you to pull out the entire piece and exchange it for a new one. Create a template for your new core by outlining the old cushion on a large piece of brown craft paper. Cut out the paper template to fashion a new custom-fit foam core to stuff into the leather casing. If you prefer, you can add a layer of soft down-and-feather filling over the top of the polyurethane foam and secure it by wrapping a layer of batting around the cushion before putting it inside the leather casing. Sometimes, the loose stuffing materials are enclosed in a separate ticking casing within the leather cover. You can simply remove the entire ticking casing and contents, and insert a new, fluffier replacement. Close It After you have fluffed or replaced your existing cushion stuffing, it's time to close up the opening.
