Superior Homes manufactures modular homes in a factory setting for resale through independent dealers in an eight-state region and three Canadian Provinces.
With over 55 years of experience in the housing industry, Superior Homes employs approximately 70 people and has a capacity to build projects ranging from entry level to executive level homes plus a wide array of other building projects that utilize a modular approach to construction. Prior applications have included classrooms, hotels and assisted living homes. "Our acquisition of Superior Homes demonstrates our commitment to business development, diversification and long-term stability," said Jeff rief, Chief Operating Officer, Larson Manufacturing. The current business model, management team and staffing for Superior Homes will be maintained under the new ownership. "Although we are not planning any major changes in operations, we do intend to take advantage of efficiencies of both companies as it relates to procurement, marketing, general administrative functions," said Rief. "Larson's financial strength and stability should expand Superior Homes opportunities in the marketplace."
"Although housing markets have slowed significantly over the course of the last year, Superior Homes has steadied their business through contract opportunities in government projects, commercial applications and direct buying customers.
