We have owned three La Z boy recliners in the past. The were all comfortable with good support and well made. The fourth one we bought was another story. It not only looks cheap, it is poorly made with inferior materials. It's uncomfortable, and the padding shifts and parts fall out. We will never shop La Z Boy again. We have had 3 Lazy Boy recliners in the past and they were well made with good support. We bought another one based on this. However, the last one we bought was a piece of junk. Uncomfortable, shifting padding and parts falling off. Will never shop Lazy Boy again. My Husband and I are Seniors , we wanted a sofa & Loveseat that we wouldn't have to replace in a year or two . We had to Finance ( on a fixed income , as most seniors are). We bought on July 4th , 2016, It has been 3 months since we noticed the Padding on the Font Top of the Arm has went down to the Wood Frame !

Not the back of the arms where you woul Rest your arms , but the Front . I called to have it Repaired ( we even purchased an extended... I bought a very expensive comfort foam Lazy-Boy recliner in Boardman, Ohio. Now two years later, the leather look material has worn through in four places. When I contacted Lazy-Boy, they put me through many hoops to jump through before they gave me an answer. They offered $150.00 off if I buy a new recliner. Now this recliner is supposed to have a lifetime guaranty but since they started getting materials from china, they won't honor a darn... Over three years ago we bought a blended-leather Lazboy sofa. They told us the blended-leather was great and would hold up very fine. They insisted that we purchase a warranty as well. The material has already started to significantly deteriorate -- it is trash, and they knew this when they sold it to us! We have sought recourse with them and gotten absolutely nowhere! They don't even express any concern or sympathy for us.

They told us the... I spent a lot more money to buy Lazy Boy based on quality. What a mistake- the leg lift broke two months after using it. Here is a video. A year ago we purchased what we thought was a high quality and certainly high priced recline-a-way recliner. in that time, twice I had to personally repair the reclining hardware, finally using an airplane nut on the retaining bracket to stop disconnecting from footpad. one year into owning, now the "memory-foam" product under leather is separating from frame. A tech visit today confirmed this, and stated a new bottom half of the chair needs... Purchased a couch from LazyBoy with delivery. They came today and refused to bring it in the house. They left it in the garage. Went to LazyBoy today after this happened. Person we spoke to in the store said her manager would call us in two days. I asked her if the movers would return to put the couch in the living room and she said no. We had our old couch removed this morning by two very pleasant movers from another company, without any...

Bought two bonded leather power recliners at 700 each and at a year and a half the leather has cracks and pulled apart at seams. They refuse to replace or repair because of defective material, will never buy anything from them again ever. We have owned nine Lazyboys in our 45 year marriage. However, the last two which we purchased in July of 2015 in the Springfield, Il, store have had to be in for repairs. The first of the repairs was done while still under warranty. However, one of the chairs broke again in the same place, and we had to take it back in. It will cost us $300 in labor for a chair less than two years old. That is too much to pay for a chair. I've tried standing desks, an array of chairs, keyboards, mice, wrist guards, stretches ... But this setup, a mildly reclined La-Z-Boy with a keyboard on my lap, has been the best arrangement for mitigating pesky RSI symptoms. The problem with using a La-Z-Boy is that it doesn't move very easily, making it awkward to slide into a desk-working orientation. That friction often made me prefer a more roll-able chair.
