Nothing was being replenished. Would have like to see more healthy choices like yogurt and fresh fruit.눇The bed was very comfortable and towels were soft. The room was very clean and spacious. 눉I have to say, the place was nice, the staff was friendly. But we did have a couple of issues that first day. First night, fire alarm in our room went off three times early morning around 2. They said it was probably low batteries. But I finally had to unplug it (with permission from the person on the phone). Then they called back a little later to tell us our neighbor wanted us to turn down the tv. I explained that it was not the tv, it was the fire alarm and our having to talk over it for the person on the phone to hear us. Also, that morning when we went down for breakfast, the milk was expired.
(I, unfortunately, figured that out when I poured into my cereal and took a bite.) I wish we'd received a discount or something, since we didn't get a lot of sleep that night. I was too rushed for time and too tired to argue though. They did offer us points, but we don't use their organization so it wouldn't have done us much good. The staff was very kind and apologetic about it.눇Pillows were excellent. Felt the room was very comfortable. 눉General state of disrepair. Nothing serious, but every little thing needed a new battery, a new screw, or glue.Great deal of light through window prevented sleep. Major traffic caused way too much noise.눇Good service staff. 눉Nothing every thing was great! 눉Property being remodeled so there is no actual front desk and construction work going on all over first floor and lobby눇Spacious rooms 눉Bed was too high off floor for elderly member. Pillows were too large,none soft.눇The property is wonderfully located, the staff and facilities are high quality, the breakfast and early evening repast is fine.
Just a grand hotel. 눇The staff was super helpful and very accomodating !! 눉We have stayed here over the past few years & there has been a slow decline in the quality of breakfast and evening food choices.눇It is centrally located and they are currently redecorating rooms and common areas. 눉I asked for a receipt and instead got a confirmation. But I called back for the receipt later and got one attached to my email immediately.눇The room was large with ample space to work at the desk provided or on the comfortable sofa. The bed was fine and the room was clean and well ordered. The breakfast was more than just "continental" and there was enough variety. 눉Bed was to hard! We stayed 3 nights and got very little sleep. The bed was to firm/hard. My husband experienced the same issues with the bed. There needs to be a mattress topper or something added for comfort. This issue would be the only reason we would not book this hotel again.눇Friendly staff, location to our children's home, cleanliness and being dog friendly!
