Room 1 – Monet – Double En-suite room with views across the lake Our large double room located at the rear of the house on the first floor is perfect for relaxing after a busy day of working, travelling or holidaymaking. Tastefully decorated and accommodating a king size bed, dressing table and wardrobe there is still plenty of room to move around. It is also large enough to accommodate a cot. The views across the lake are, in our opinion, stunning, with the water being on the same level as the room and only a few yards from the bedroom window. In summer there is an abundance of beautiful water lilies and there is always plenty of bird life to watch. There is a good sized en-suite bathroom attached which includes a toilet, bath/shower and hand basin. Further facilities include – Colour Freeview TV, free WiFi, Tea/Coffee Making Facilities, Hairdryer, Towels Room 2 – Windmill – Double En-suite room with field views This double bedroom is located at the front of the house on the first floor.
It has recently been re-decorated in neutral colours and has a variety of drawer units and hanging space for luggage. The far reaching views are to the front of the house and look out across paddocks and open countryside to the villages of Weston and Weedon Lois. The en-suite currently includes a toilet and hand basin and is due to be refurbished shortly to include a large walk in shower. Room 3 – Pool – Twin Room with views across the lake and waterfall A good sized twin room to the rear of the house which is perfect for accommodating friends or family who prefer to keep costs down by sharing a room, or older children who don’t wish to share their parents bedroom. It is tastefully decorated in neutral colours with a dressing table, several mirrors and a Tallboy for accommodating luggage. Each bed is a generous 3 feet wide and 6 feet long with a decorative metal bed head. There is a clear view of the entire lake from this room as well as the waterfall from the lake to the stream which runs adjacent to the house.
The private bathroom a few steps along the landing includes a toilet, hand basin and bath/shower. It’s supportive for both of us but also just cozy. You sink in just the right amount. And it’s quiet—we don’t disrupt each other if we move or get up. We love our Cocoon. It’s been perfect for us. It was crazy getting the Cocoon, especially because as you unpack it, you quickly realize it’s such a substantial and high-quality mattress.
