눉Carpets weren't too clean - lots of glitter and dust from previous guests.Bar prices are high (£14+ for a pint of beer and a glass of wine!!) and the white wine was served warm. The superior bedroom had a very large bed but only one bedside cabinet - not very convenient.눇Fresh fruit served at breakfast, excellent. Lovely breakfast waiter brought us espresso, brilliant. Bathroom recently refurbished and very smart. The hotel is near the A14 and access is very simple, our room was quiet and warm. 눉Evening meal was not good and breakfast was a disaster. 눉Room could have benefitted from a USB socket to charge phone - although friendly staff lent me an adaptor!눇Clean, comfortable and relaxing. 눉The lady osana that was working Saturday 14th& Sunday 15th she was very rude her body language we felt offended with what she did with us when we check out she call our room asking if we have extended our stay that was before 12pm checkout time. We were getting ready to go out, we just felt she didn't trust us .
She told us that people stay over the time we told her we not those people.She Knew I was not happy but still she was asking me alot of questions, I wrote a review but I'm not sure if she has given it in .눇The chef & waitress I would highly recommend them they were very lovely people & they make us feel welcome. 눉That restaurant was awful in both decor/atmosphere and quality of food.눇The staff were friendly and helpful 눇There were Christmas parties going on in the main restaurant at the time of our visit and the staff put themselves out to provide us with dinner in the lounge - the service was as good as it is in the restaurant, even though they were very, very busy. 눉No bedside light if you wished to read눇Good breakfast 눉You couldn't switch off the light from the clock on the TV, had to use some card to cover it, so I could sleep! Overall the building and fixtures are of a good and quaint but they're looking tired and scraggy. 눉We would have liked softer pillows.
