We wanted a king-size bed. Suite had paint chipping off the wall. Small bathroom with rust around the overflow drain. Since we used Booking, we couldn't get Hilton Honors points. We provided a credit card (AMEX) during check in but had trouble charging to our room.눇Location. Proximity to Hale Koa. House staff attention to room cleanliness. General staff knowledge and courtesy.Although I booked a room with a king size bed because it was cheaper, at check-in we were offered a room with double beds which we preferred. Our flight wasn't until the evening and we had our room use extended until 1 o'clock and then we were welcomed to hang around the pool as their guests for the rest of the day. We were then offered a hospitality room to change before leaving. 눉Bit busy눇Nice beachfront resort 눇Great place to stay, friendly helpful staff. Wifi was actually free and fast considering the size of the place. 눉Location a 15 minute walk from main stream Waikiki shopping, restaurants, bars.
Towel carts and mntce carts very loud as they are pushed over rock paved pathways - annoying when you are sitting at pool or in bar or cafe. Resort fee high and most things included were not of interest to us.눇Rooms clean, quiet, spacious. Towels soft and generous. Beach area in front nice, with good swimming. towel service nice option. Several restaurants onsite, although quality is nothing special; nightly music in bars was enjoyable. 눉N/a눇The Hotel was alsome bought a time share.Definitely not where I will be going back. Furniture and decor was just too old. 눉More coffee in room!!!!Staff I dealt with were wonderful especially the lady who booked me in. Bed very comfortable as were the pillows. A great but short stay. 눉The prices for the food in the area were higher than anticipated.... $20 for a typical burger and fries.눇The room had a great view of the Waikiki beach. 눉I wish there was a microwave in the rooms for leftovers given how expensive the food is.
Also wish hot tub open later at night.눇Fireworks were good and the property was well maintained! 눇Beds were comfy but two doubles for two adults and two teenagers was too small. Had three per bed. Two per person would have been nice. For the price it would have been nice to have a free continental breakfast by the pool every morning. 눉Better check-in procedure - everyone lined up at the same time to collect room keys. A help-desk at the resort that answered your questions only, instead of having to listen to a sales pitch.눇The resort was EXACTLY as advertised, in a great location for access to beach and city. The facilities were great and perfectly clean. Our booking request was for a room with a resort or beach view - we had a room that had both views! 눉In our room When we called to ask for some plates we were told to come down and get them ourselves. No microwave anywhere at the resort to heat my babies food.눇Lagoon and the resort was amazing. Would definitely go back.
