This bed is absolutely DIVINE--I never want to get out of it in the morning! It does not retain body heat the way the older version did. I really notice the difference. Very expensive, but money well spent. We live in New England so the heat retention is not a problem for us . We keep our bedroom cool though and when I climb into the bed the first minute or so it sometimes feels like a slab of cement, but then it quickly warms up. We like our bed!
