Best Western PremierWaterfront Hotel & Conference CenterThis is a spacious one-bedroom apartment with a classic Portland layout: living room in front, french doors to the dining room, bedroom to the side, kitchen in the back. The bay window gets copious morning sun and makes the maple floors gleam. The bathroom has just been expanded and remodeled in 2017 with a small tub and new fixtures. The bedroom has a new kingsize bed and a rollaway twin bed or pack-n-play crib is available. The entire place has replacement windows and was certified lead-safe by the city of Portland.The apartment is on the ground floor but unfortunately there's no wheelchair access at this time.
There's a common area in the front and back hall and a private lockable entrance in front and back. You'll have access to the back yard. We have some outdoor toys and sports equipment in the back that you may borrow, just ask.We live upstairs with our six year old daughter and keep pretty low-key but we're around if you need us.Mechanic Street is a little one-way street right in the heart of downtown, in the most diverse neighborhood in the state. Online maps measure walking distance in FEET to Portland's most celebrated restaurants, nightspots and parks, and less than three blocks to Portland Stage Company, Portland Museum of Art and Congress Square, the center of Portland's art district. Also be advised that a resource center for the homeless is down the street and an ancient local dive bar on the corner can sometimes attract an "urban tableau" however our family has lived here for 15 years and never felt unsafe.You won't need a car here. The Metro bus hub is close by and there are plenty of taxis but you'll likely opt to just walk, as the old port is only a mile of walking by countless art galleries and stunning architecture.
There's a one-car driveway for your use. If you are not bringing a car please let us know.We just recently moved upstairs from this apartment and it's furnished with all new stuff. Let us know if we're missing any essential appliances or amenities and we'll get it to you as soon as possible. You will receive a call prior to this date with an approximate two-hour timeframe of when the delivery drivers will arrive. Customers with delivery outside the state of Iowa may request a delivery date during the checkout process. This date is not guaranteed but we will try to get as close to this date as possible. Once the items leave our facility, the carrier will contact you within 5-10 business days to schedule your actual delivery date and time.
Charges for out-of-state deliveries are contingent upon the shipping address, product weight and other shipping factors. Your delivery charges will be calculated during checkout. The cost of return shipping or delivery will be deducted from your refund.
