Decentralized Event Management & Marketing Protocol on Blockchain

Introduction

We liked it and we took part in the event. Everyone must have participated or even hosted an event, be it a music concert, comedy show, stage party, or party (personal). The show industry is one of the oldest but ever increasing industries. Day by day, thousands of events occur all over the world. As an event manager, organizing an event is not an easy task. From planning, hiring the right people and doing the right marketing, the whole process takes time. Many events need to be canceled, because there are too few participants, mainly because the network is small or marketing campaigns are not working properly. By using blockchain technology, a solution to this problem offered by a project called "KickCity" was found.

What is KickCity? 

KickCity is a Decentralized Event Management and Marketing Platform blocked. The main idea behind KickCity is connecting people through blockchain to expand the network. This idea is realized with a reward system, where each participant can benefit from the whole system.

How does this work?

KCY-Tokens:

As mentioned above, have KCY-Tokens become the official crypto from KickCity for their ecosystem. Token will be used for example by the event manager to create their marketing pool, but will also be appreciated for promoters and participants, who share and participate in the event.

  • Total amount: 250 million KCY
  • Total number of sales: 160 million KCY, unsold KCY will be burned
  • 1 KCY will cost you 0.1 $

  • There will be a bonus for the initial investor (15% on day one, 10% for days 2-10, 5% for days 11-20)

Budget will be used to:

  • 7% contigency

Roadmap:

KickCity has a very clear road map, indicating that they have achieved quite a lot. Among these are App Early Releases in Q4 2016, Event Platform in Q2 2017, but also many developments and use cases of blocking. Currently KickCity is preparing for their upcoming token sales and will expand their project later this year. Surely we will soon see a more detailed roadmap.

My opinion:

KickCity I think is a very interesting project, aiming to help the beeing event more successful and also have better customer targeting. I am very impressed with the idea of ​​the project in general and think that with better marketing, the show industry could grow even bigger in the years ahead. Blockchain technology allows projects like KickCity to emerge. With existing apps for iOS and Android, KickCity is already the base they can work on. I am very excited to have used KickCity in the future for my private events (I'm doing music concerts), but also love to spread the word on my network and also benefit from a great rewards system.
