🔳🎬Julian Schnabel (born October 26, 1951).

He is an American filmmaker and Neo-expressionist artist large-scale paintings are materially and thematically monumental, drawing on a wealth of influences from Cubism to the practice of Cy Twombly and themes such as sexuality, obsession, suffering, redemption, death, and belief.

In 2002, Schnabel painted the cover artwork for the Red Hot Chili Peppers' eighth studio album, By The Way.
