Synopsis:

A boy fights... for "the right death."
Hardship, regret, shame: the negative feelings that humans feel become Curses that lurk in our everyday lives. The Curses run rampant throughout the world, capable of leading people to terrible misfortune and even death. What's more, the Curses can only be exorcised by another Curse.
Itadori Yuji is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a friend who has been attacked by Curses, he eats the finger of the Double-Faced Specter, taking the Curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with the Double-Faced Specter. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Gojou Satoru, Itadori is admitted to the Tokyo Metropolitan Technical High School of Sorcery, an organization that fights the Curses... and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a Curse to exorcise a Curse, a life from which he could never turn back.

Megumi is the deuteragonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He is a first-year student at Jujutsu High and also a descendant of the Zenin Family.

While outwardly stoic and calculating, Megumi wishes to help protect people he sees as good or kind. He believes that the world is unfair and that a Shaman is a tool to ensure kind people are given more chances to live. Claiming it to be his selfish and irrational desire, he does not see himself as a hero for doing this.

This belief that good people deserve saving motivated him to save Yuji Itadori from immediate execution and he refused to regret the choice even as Sukuna was about to kill him.

Megumi entered the college as a Second Grade Shaman. He is considered to have very high potential.

Sukuna notes that Megumi's willingness to use hand-to-hand combat makes him different from other Shikigami users. According to Gojo, Megumi has even more potential and skill than Yuji. He is able to use his physical attacks in combination with his Shikigami to entrap his opponent.

It is later revealed that Toji Fushiguro is his father and was killed by Gojo Satoru. Megumi was supposed to be sold to the Zenin clan, but Gojo prevented that and made Megumi keep the Fushiguro name.

Yuuji Itadori

He cares greatly for the "value of a life" and to this end, he will ensure that others receive a "fair death". He is easy to anger in the face of pure cruelty and unfair judgment of other people.

An evil spirit called "Sukuna" is possessing Yuji's body. Sukuna saved Yuji's life which in return, Sukuna can take control of his body for one minute when he desires.

Gojou Satoru is a teacher at Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College. Gojou is a tall man being seen as somewhere around 190cm tall. Often seen as an attractive man, Gojou is most known for his sky blue eyes and his light, spiky white hair. He often wears a black cloth covering his eyes, a black high-necked coat, long black pants and black shoes. Gojou is said to be one of, if not the strongest sorcerer in the series, holding both immense amounts of curse power and a dangerously powerful technique.
