Synopsis:

A boy fights... for "the right death."
Hardship, regret, shame: the negative feelings that humans feel become Curses that lurk in our everyday lives. The Curses run rampant throughout the world, capable of leading people to terrible misfortune and even death. What's more, the Curses can only be exorcised by another Curse.
Itadori Yuji is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a friend who has been attacked by Curses, he eats the finger of the Double-Faced Specter, taking the Curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with the Double-Faced Specter. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Gojou Satoru, Itadori is admitted to the Tokyo Metropolitan Technical High School of Sorcery, an organization that fights the Curses... and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a Curse to exorcise a Curse, a life from which he could never turn back.

Megumi is the deuteragonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He is a first-year student at Jujutsu High and also a descendant of the Zenin Family.

While outwardly stoic and calculating, Megumi wishes to help protect people he sees as good or kind. He believes that the world is unfair and that a Sorcerer is a tool to ensure kind people are given more chances to live. Claiming it to be his selfish and irrational desire, he does not see himself as a hero for doing this.

Megumi first met Gojo when he was in 1st grade.
He likes food that pairs well with ginger, and dislikes red peppers.
He prefers casual clothes that he can wear around the house.

A muscular teenager with big light brown eyes and light brown spiky hair. Yuuji is a fair person who cares greatly for not only his comrades but anyone he views as people with their own wills, despite how deep or shallow his connection to them is. He cares greatly for the "value of a life" and to this end, he will ensure that others receive a "proper death." He is easy to anger in the face of pure cruelty and unfair judgment of other people.
He doesn't have the born talent required to use cursed techniques, but he has incredible athletic abilities and he is considered very strong for his age, as shown by when he easily beat a coach in Steel Ball Throw.

Nobara Kugisaki

She is a first-year student and grade 3 jujutsu sorcerer at Tokyo Jujutsu High studying under Satoru Gojo alongside Yuji and Megumi.

Nobara is a confident and brash young woman with an unshakable character. More than anything, Nobara is determined to stay true to herself no matter what. She takes great pride in being both a pretty girl and a strong fighter, refusing to let anyone influence her.

Initially, Nobara can appear to be a very obnoxious and arrogant person. She first introduced herself to Yuji and Megumi by expressing how inferior they were. She also argued with Yuji for the greater part of their first mission together. Despite her abrasive attitude, Nobara is actually an incredibly caring and dutiful person, but would never let most people see that side of her. After fighting alongside each other in several missions, Yuji and Megumi grow to become Nobara's closest allies.

Satoru Gojou

A teacher at Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School and a special-grade sorcerer. He's often seen as an attractive man. Gojou is said to be one of, if not the strongest sorcerer in the series, holding both immense amounts of curse power and a dangerously powerful technique known as Limitless.

During the Shibuya incident, Gojo is led into a trap and is sealed in a box where he's incapable of doing anything and is later deemed a criminal by the higher ups and exiled from the Jujutsu world, furthermore removing the seal on Gojo will be considered a criminal act no matter who does it.
