I've had my current pair for two years now and have worn thru the rubber on the heel I wear them so much! Probably time for a new pair, which I why I'm back here leaving a review! For a comfort shoe these have a very narrow pointy toe box. Was disappointed after sizing down to find that this style simply did not look good on my feet. Josef Siebel makes a sturdy leather shoe, but this time, the style was not for me! If you size down, you will do well with this one! Putting them on my feet, I could understand what they meant. However, I think they didn't walk around in them. Everything they said is true and more. I put them on it felt like they will be awful.
But I walk around in them and they're a dream. I need shoes that work for plantar fasciitis and these fit the bill perfectly. But nice, soft leather shoes I purchased these and after 1 west the stitching came loose in the side of the shoe. Zappos was kind enough to exchange them for me. But the second pair did the same this. The stitching cam loose again. It's been such a burden I didn't return them. Just ended up wearing $130 shoe beat up looking from day 1. This is a really cute shoe, and would go great with skirts as well as jeans. It also runs narrow, which is great since I wear a narrow shoe. Plus, the insoles are removable in the event you want to use custom orthotics.
However, the left shoe (only the left) rubbed my little toe. I wanted to be able to keep this shoe so badly that I ordered a second pair to see if it would still hurt my foot, and it did. Unfortunately, I have to return it. I really wanted to like these, but the sole is really rigid and felt like I was walking on cardboard. I had to send them back. The top strap hits my ankle bone so I had to return within seconds.A fun spring shoe that helps the drab winter feel like spring! again, liked the shoe but hard to fit feed didn't...sorry Liked the shoe but have foot that's hard to fit...was disappointed.Might do better with an insole for lots of walking. At first I wasn't sure about these shoes because they were very stiff. and I had to use a shoehorn to get them on. But after a several wearings they softened up.
They are now my favorite shoes. Size 40 was perfect for me.Yet the design of the back is too high it rubs my the ankle area. Have to send it back.
