Very well constructed and well-sprung, with sturdy joints and slats. Looks like it will last a long time. It's very comfortable and looks great in our loft room. Oslo Double Upholstered - Grey Wool Very pleased, ordered the Oslo upholstered double on a bank holiday Monday, arrived that Wednesday morning, so exceptionally fast delivery, however the bed was already in stock so can't vouch if the bed you choose isnt. The bed itself is incredibly sturdy, was choosing between this and a John Lewis bed in a similar style but £100 more expensive. However I felt this looked sturdier and after checking the parts and assembling it it seems my decision was vindicated.
Strong metal joints, proper sprung slats with a metal central support bar, with 2 strong metal support legs, 4 strong wooden legs and thick upholstered sides and footboard with a well padded headboard finished in a beautiful soft grey wool effect material. Once assembled its not going anywhere even if your the most 'athletic' couple ever! It's bigger than a standard double as the mattress sits inside the frame but for the price it's incredible value. I'm delighted and it looks even better than the picture on the website. Easy to assemble, one could do it at a push but with two it's a doddle. 2 of us had it assembled in half hour with no hitch, and there's not a screw in sight, it's all strong bolts, washers and nuts, all assembled with allen keys and spanner provided, however you will probably need a large cross headed screw driver.
