Hi frien! So here is a short review of my current apps, and some websites I use!

Tinycards - 3.5/5

It is a lovely and simple flashcards app. I found this app really useful when I was just beginning to learn the Japanese alphabet (Hiragana ひらがな & Katakana カタカナ), but now I don't really use it too much.

LingoDeer - 4/5

I haven't used LingoDeer as much as I have Duolingo but this app seems nice and clean, overall I think they would provide a similar learning experience.

HelloTalk - 3/5 (for now)

I gave this one a smaller score because currently it isn't too useful. It is more of a social Network with the intent on natural learning, but because our Japanese isn't any good right now it is hard to get any use out of it. The app itself is wonderful, and I am recommending it to you because I believe once we are able to hold simple conversations in Japanese this will be vital to our learning experience. 😊

Drops - 4.5/5

Wonderful app! The only downside is that the free version limits your app use to around 5 minutes per day, but currently that is perfect for me. The app is beautiful, modern and buttery smooth~

Others~

Along side all of these apps and resources I always have Google Translate handy, and I've started consuming more Japanese content (watching Japanese Twitch streamers, listening to Japanese songs, watching Japanese movies, and of course more anime, etc.)

Here are some apps I tried before but ended up not keeping, you may want to check them out and form your own opinion:
-Memrise (looks good but it is paid after first lesson)
-EggBun (didn't enjoy their setup)
-Japanese Phrasebook (simple phrasebook, i prefer other methods of learning)

Finally here are the websites I currently use:
-Supernative (wish there was an app for this website)
-Tofugu (nice&clean website layout)
