OleOle Football

1) When did you decide to become a footballer and why?

“I actually wanted to become footballer even before i can remember so it was a logical choice as i had’nt given much thought about doing something else. Have been playing football since age 7 so it all came naturally.”

2) Describe your greatest achievement in football and the most impressive failure?

“I’d like to think that my greatest achievements are still to come as i am still quite young player, actually haven’t got great achievements nor failures so far. If i were to point out something that i’m most proud of, then probably that i’ve gotten the chance to represent youth national teams and gotten the chance to test myself against some top talents in Europe.”

3) Do you like the Estonian championship, where would you like to prove yourself. What are you dreaming about?

“I do like Estonian championship, the league has gotten more proffessional over the past years so the players overall level has risen aswell. For the long term i’d still like to test myself at some foreing league in some point of my career.”

4) Which club do you sympathize with except Viljandi Tulevik and Flora and why?

“I actually don’t have favourite club from the world, usually i support teams that are underdogs in different competitions”. For example Ajax in last years Champions league.”

5) Who is your best friend in the football world?

“We have a really close-knit team so pretty much everybody communicate with each other.”

6) Which player is the soul of the team?

“Probably our most experienced player Kaimar Saag who has played many games for national team aswell and brings alot of experience for our young team.”

7) The best goal scored by you? Do you remember it?

“Best goal is probably from last season when i scored with my weaker left foot to top corner from about 20-25 metres against Maardu.

8) The most disastrous match for you?

“First game that sprungs to my mind is against Sweden U19 which was a U19 EURO qualifying match, where i had a chance to score in the opening minutes from corner but missed the chance, went on to lose the 4-0 and had a really miserable game from that point on.”

9) Would you like to play in the top championship, if so in which one?

“If i could choose from all the leagues in the world it would have to be English Premier League, the best league in the world in my opinion.”

10) Viljandi Tulevik is a nice team that plays interesting football, do you like the style of the game you are playing?

“As we are not one of the top clubs in the competition we have to prioritise defence first, of course every player would like to attack from the getgoing but we have to choose the best and most realistic tactic which gives us the best chance to win the game.”

11) Are you satisfied with yourself in this segment of the championship? What would you like to improve in your game?

“We were only able to play one match before the lockdown so its really early to say and ofcourse as we have no idea what the other teams have done right now so its interesting to see how i and our whole team gets on with the game.”

12) Next week your championship resumes, after a forced pause, did you miss football, and how did you spend your leisure time during a pandemic?

“Of course i missed football, cant wait to get back on pitch. During the lockdown i spent alot of time playing Football Manager, watched a bit of sport documentals and also tried to read a bit of books.”

13) What do you expect from the upcoming fight with FC Paide?

“Paide have a good team so its definitely going to be difficult game but i believe that we are prepared and ready to get some points on board.”
