FSE commercial fire doors are designed and engineered to suit the many different heavy duty commercial and industrial applications encountered in all types of buildings. They are available as standard timber faced doors, hygiene doors, smoke doors, steel faced doors and lead lined doors. FSE commercial fire doors are available in single and double (pair) configuration up to 3500mm in height and 3000mm in width. The commercial FSE fire door product has been designed and engineered for heavy duty use in commercial and industrial applications. This product can also be used for high-end residential (apartments and hotels) applications where higher performance levels of security, longevity and sound attenuation are required. The FSE commercial fire door leaf has a nominal finished thickness of 45mm, yet has achieved fire ratings up to 4 hours when tested to AS 1530, Part 4. Consisting of a solid E-Core® homogenous core with steel reinforcing plates for all hardware locations, the door leaf possesses an excellent combination of weight, strength, durability and performance.
Please note that every FSE fire door comes with 3 heavy duty hinge reinforcements as standard. Under the requirements of the Building Code of Australia, entry doors in residential buildings, apartments and hotels require a fire rating of one hour. The FSE residential fire door was designed specifically for use in such buildings. It has been designed and engineered for light use situations and is not suitable for high use, high traffic commercial or industrial applications. FSE residential fire doors are available in single configuration up to 2350mm in height and 1200mm in width. The FSE residential fire door leaf is lightweight and offers excellent strength, durability, security and privacy. Even though the overall leaf thickness is 35mm (nominal), the FSE residential fire door leaf has achieved excellent fire performance levels in excess of the one hour requirement when tested to AS 1530 Part 4. Consisting of a solid E-Core® homogenous core with steel reinforcing plates for all hardware locations, the door leaf possesses good sound attenuation or acoustic properties.
The door leaf is available as a flush panel with paint grade or decorative veneers of your choice, or in a moulded panel design. The E-Core® residential fire door is constructed to the same high standard as E-Core® commercial fire doors. For a sharp modern theme, look no further! Our contemporary range of Shaker style doors are of “solid” construction and are supplied with a factory applied 2-coat deluxe white prime finish. The 35mm thick Capri, Iseo and Orta doors are of semi-solid construction and are supplied with the same 2-coat deluxe primed finish. Please note that whilst the level of finish is extremely high we recommend that a further coat be applied especially if the door is reduced in size; it is essential to ensure all cut outs and trimmed areas are fully sealed when hung.
