Modular homes are transported on a flat deck (float), they have no metal frame and must be craned or rolled onto a prepared foundation or basement, depending on the style ordered. Modular homes are built to the A277 Code, the same as a home constructed on site. Most of the Sectional plans can be built to the Modular specs, which opens up so many ideas for people and gives them many choices of lay out and design of their new home.
