If you're serious about juicing, you should dedicate a cool, dark area of your house to storing produce which can be kept long-term. For instance, apples may be held in the garage on the winter so long as they're prohibited to freeze. Just clean them, do away with any bad ones, and store them within a protected but breathable container. Occasionally all of us get sick, even most healthy of us! Maybe it's not an illness that is holding you back, but instead you've injured yourself, and you just can't get out of the house. Juicing does not have to become neglected! Use whatever you happen to have in the house, or ask a neighbor if they have some items you could use. Remove seeds and pits from your fruits before juicing them. Hard pits, like individuals seen in peaches, will keep annoying pieces with your liquid and can damage the cutting blades of your respective juicer. Other seeds, such as the apple company seed products, may actually contain chemical compounds which are damaging. It's wise to take them out in advance. Crumple up leafy vegetables, like green spinach, into limited balls well before putting them inside your juice extractor. Your juice machine is generally made to deal with reliable fruits and vegetables, not slim leaves. If you simulate this effect by squashing your leafy greens before juicing, you will get better results from your juicer.
