My shoulders have never been the same since. My shoulders have never been the same since. Some people can't use the pillow top due to the alignment. Memory foam normally helps in these cases. One reason the Sleep Number beds are still going strong is the fact that two people can have a lot different sleep needs. It took awhile for me and my wife to find a bed the met both our needs... and to be honest it's only because I hold my pillow in a way to compensate.

Don't avoid pillow tops just because others say to, test it, you might like it.But... don't get the cheapest bed you can find. Quality does mean more expensive beds.To think back to some of the beds I sold for $20 less than the next one up... knowing it would be on the curb in a year... oh the quality difference was huge. eksterHi therePremium Memberjoin:2010-07-16Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue, QC· to DKSsaid by DKS:Yeah. Not the cheapest one out there.... But it's by far the best mattress I've slept on. to DKSquote:I like my Tempurpedic. Last time I checked, they went for around $4,000.Pretty sure I saw those at 2K-2800$ NCRGuyjoin:2008-03-03Ottawa, ON said by Anon80:said by jobr:The comfiest mattress I've ever slept on was at the Delta in Fredericton. Not to mention that size of mattress will have a huge impact on price, and what may be a $1500 Queen set will be a $2000+ King. Not to mention if we're talking hotels they often have oversize beds that will add significantly to cost. to Tell Me NefCanuckjoin:2007-06-26Mississauga, ON to Tell Me urbanriotPremium Memberjoin:2004-10-18Canada· to Devanchyasaid by Devanchya:Never never put your bed right on the floor, even with a box spring. They are designed to breath from the bottom and doing so will shorten the life of your bed hugely...My guest room has a bed that's basically a good mattress and a box spring cause I keep forgetting to buy the 'bed' aspect of the bed, didn't know about this... thanks! to ZZZZZZZRe: Mattresssaid by ZZZZZZZ:quote:I like my Tempurpedic. after trying a half a dozen mattresses in the store i laid down on a tempurapedic, complete with tempurapedic pillows.....it won me over totally, i did not want to get off of that bed...however i was told that it will get hot in the summer though and it might absorb the sweat which could be prone to an odour... also i might have a hard time to turn in the bed...what a downer that was.

Snoring is fixable, but you look like Darth Vader. to jaberisaid by jaberi:Jackorama, i was told by the sales rep, we no longer have to turn over a mattress, regardless if it is a "tight top"as for the pillow top, i tried 3 different ones, and it took me all of 2 minutes to decide that i did not like sinking into it.What the sales rep told you was BS, especially if you have individual coil packets. Now that being said, I just had to turn my mattress from top to bottom again because of sagging. BTW my bed is a Queen size Sealy Posturepedic Cosmopolitan with 2 box springs (split box spring) bought in 2009, not a Serta.IKEA hack - use a full-sized Malm bed frame and insert a Sultan Alsarp mattress base inside (it has the built-in lifing mechanism as shown in the pic) - now you can put the mattress on top of the frame/slats and lift it up easily to store things under the bed.

I was planning on getting a full-sized Malm bed this spring so now I'm going to do this - BONUS STORAGE. Using the MALM bedframe and SULTAN ALSARP boxspring storage unit from IKEA, you can create a secret storage area beneath the mattress to give you some extra space. I can't say enough about the usefulness of good under-the-bed storage. While I generally prefer to just get rid of things I don't use, sometimes you just have to keep unwanted items around—like product boxes, for resale purposes, or clothes you won't wear until the weather changes six months later. While I don't have an IKEA hybrid bed like the one cleverly assembled by blogger and IKEA hacker Heath Ashli, I wish I'd thought of this before buying one. The idea is pretty simple. The SULTAN ALSARP and MALM beds are about the same size, but the MALM doesn't come with much storage underneath. You can, however, effectively use the entire space under the mattress in a MALM bed by combining it with the ALSARP boxspring storage unit.

According to IKEA this wasn't meant to be, but it seems like a pretty awesome match nonetheless.
