Using the pocket hole jig kit, drill two pocket holes in the back of each leg of the chair. For the SUNDERÖ chair, you should set up the drill bit and jig for 3⁄4 wood stock and set the jig on the fourth stop. Apply wood glue along the rocking runner dents and place the chair legs into the dents. Clean off any excess glue and drill in the pocket hole screws. Allow the glue to dry for 24 hours. Sand the chair and runner, apply a coat of primer and then paint in the colors of your choice. You will need at least two or three coats for best results. HACK HINT: If you are looking for a shortcut for this project, simply paint the runners
in a fun, contrasting color and leave the chair itself unpainted.
