Shipping from : Malaysia No shipping rates are available for this product.Box spring or wood slats? March 14, 2014   Subscribe We just got a nice new mattress. It came with a box spring. We were using our old mattress on an IKEA bed (the Redalen, which I guess they don't sell anymore) with their cheap wooden slats, the Sultan Lade, as support. All things being equal, we'd stick with the IKEA bed and slats. But are all things equal? Are there advantages to using the box spring instead of the slats? make / manufacturer: IKea model name / number: Malm size / dimensions: Queen Bed Frame QR Code Link to This Post IKEA Malm bed frame in very good condition. There are a few minor scuffs which are highlighted in the photos. It is slightly different from their current model (which is reflected in measurements given) as it is a couple years old.

Only selling because we decided it was time to get a King sized bed. The frame is disassembled at the current time with all hardware and ready for pickup. It also comes with the LURÖY Slatted Bed Base. Headboard height: 30.5 in Footboard and side height: 12in Space between Bed and floor on sides: 5.5 in This also comes with wooden slats and metal support beam. Here is the link to IKEA site for more info... make / manufacturer: Ikea model name / number: Brusali size / dimensions: Queen Moved into a new place and downsizing a bit. This is from our previous guest bedroom and the mattress is practically brand new and probably only slept on 10 times or less. We did have some issues getting the bed frame apart when moving and caused a little damage to it as you can see in the picture. Nothing a few screws won't fix though. We're selling these together and asking $140. If you want to buy them separately, send an offer and we will let you know. We'd really rather sell them together though.

It comes to 86.5"x61". A queen mattress is 80x60. We need to come up with a 6" deep storage headboard idea still to fill the gap. You get 10 drawers in bed for LIGHT items. Used 2 long units on each side. 1 short unit at foot of bed. 3 Lacks in the middle as filler. We have a spare bedroom that is long, but also fairly narrow.  With a queen bed there wasn't much space for anything else, but we wanted to make the room more multi-functional.  The obvious solution was a murphy bed. We spoke to some of the local suppliers, and for a basic murphy bed and cabinet with no additional storage space the price would have been about $3,500.  That's a little steep, but the bigger problem is that we didn't like the style of any of them. I'd seen two ikea hacks that used Pax cabinets with a murphy bed kit:http://jerrystarbuckproject.blogspot.ca/2011/02/murphy-bed-with-ikea-cabinets.htmlhttp://herbiesworld.blogspot.ca/2009/04/guest-room-remodel-budget-murphy-bed.html Neither of those were what we were looking for either, but they inspired me to try something similar with some tweaks.

Step 1: Two Pax WardrobesShow All Items« PreviousNext »View All Steps DownloadI'll admit it: I love what IKEA's been up to lately. They're making high-tech however affordable desks. They're reissuing simple but sophisticated midcentury modern designs. And now, they're bringing a whole slew of drop dead gorgeous furniture to the United States, much of which is made of solid wood. IKEA just announced a number of collections that will be available to the American market in February. Most of the pieces are not only super affordable, but they also fall into the I-can't-believe-that's-from-IKEA class of furniture. There are two main collections that will be new to this side of the Atlantic. NORNÄS is a whole line of solid pine furniture inspired by and sourced from the north of Sweden. SPRUTT is a clean-looking collection of small items specifically designed for "speedy mornings." There are a few bonus items from other collections as well, but let's get right to the pictures. One quick note: These items won't be in the US catalog until February, but you can find more details about some of them in the UK catalog now.

I know from personal experience that it's hard to find a low-priced farm table, much less one that's made out of solid wood. The NORNÄS is close enough and costs about as much as a good wireless speaker. The matching bench is just $90. If you buy the table (and you should) you can attach an adaptable side table for just $50. It can work as a desk, an extension, or a little kids' zone. Many mourned the death of the versatile Expedit shelving unit, but IKEA will now offer a solid wood alternative of sorts. However, this sideboard also looks a lot nicer—and more expensive than it actually is. I want this solid wood bed. I want to paint it black, and I want to sleep in it every night. And I want to lounge in it on the weekends, while I stare out at the dirty Brooklyn buildings outside of my window and pretend that they're pine trees in Sweden. I don't even know what I would do with this glass-door wall cabinet—maybe put some action figures in it? I want this pretty piece of furniture, too.

You never know how much you need small, symmetrical drawers until you buy a cabinet full of them and fill the drawers with all the small things that have been cluttering up your house. Trust me on this one. Wait a second, is that a shower curtain with pockets for just $8? That's a shower curtain with pockets for just $8. To be honest, I didn't look twice at this rolling cart until I realized that you could put breakfast on top of it. This bed is inspired by Japanese design. Think: Origami only much, much sturdier. This bed frame is pricey compared to the beautiful NÖRNAS bed or the ASKVOLL bed above, but it's damn handsome. The rest of the collection is pretty reasonably priced, too. You know, if you like to match.Handsome and reasonably priced. Here's a light and slim tablet stand made out of bamboo and stainless steel for a little more than what you probably spend on lunch. And since it's so great for the kitchen, you can just fix your own lunch and make back the money in no time!
