Westin Heavenly Bed Ratings The ratings – based on 80+ consumer reviews gathered using an unbiased, accurate methodology – show how the Westin Heavenly Bed compares to the average mattress. The Heavenly Bed overall has 64% owner satisfaction. Similar to innerspring beds in general, at least 20% of owners report significant sagging or excessive softening occurring within three years of ownership. The Heavenly Bed is priced $800-$1,900 depending on size. Add $400+ for a foundation. Shipping can add another $200+. Not a major strength, but about 8% of owners report pain relief, including back pain relief. Sagging or excessive softening can cause back pain.

The Heavenly Bed uses pocketed coils that are mostly effective in keeping movement made from one person on the bed from disturbing another person. No initial odor / off gassing There are few complaints of significant off gassing / initial odor. Despite the fact that the Heavenly Bed has a thick pillow top, there are few complaints regarding the mattress sleeping hot. The bed tends to be suitable for back sleepers. Rotating the mattress at least twice a year is needed to maintain comfort and prevent / combat sagging, at least 20% of owners report. The design is no-flip. As is the case with most innerspring mattresses, the weight of Heavenly Bed can make moving or maneuvering the mattress as well as changing linens difficult especially for one person. Firmness ranges mostly from firm to medium-soft depending on the model. For the more expensive models especially (due mainly to their higher coil count), support tends to be better than average. The beds perform somewhat above average in regard to keeping movement isolated so it does not disturb one's partner. There are limited reports of significant and persistent off gassing. Softer models and or those with two inches or more of memory foam may offer some resistance to movement. The mattresses tend to have both the thickness and strength to be suited for people over 240 lbs. The above average tallness of the mattresses may make ingress / egress difficult for shorter people. Mostly effective edge support is provided by foam perimeter rails. Sagging can result in intimate activities being uncomfortable and difficult to perform. About 5% of owners say their mattress at least occasionally makes some noise. Short break in period Break-in time may be somewhat longer than average. Easy to lift, handle, move Weight ranges from 60 to nearly 200 lbs depending on size and model; the average Aireloom / Kluft queen weighs about 150 lbs. This weight can make the mattresses onerous to lift, handle and move. Aireloom / Kluft beds have a one-sided, no flip design. Rotating the mattress (head to foot) two or more times per year may be needed to prevent or minimize sagging.




Given the weight of the mattress, this may be difficult to do especially for one person. Aireloom / Kluft Company Ratings The ratings below – based on consumer experiences and the evaluation of Sleep Like The Dead – show how E. S. Kluft & Company compares to the average mattress manufacturer. Kluft models tend to have a 10-year nonprorated warranty, while most Aireloom models have a 20- or 25-year, 10-year nonprorated warranty. (See mattress warranties: what you should know.) Customer service does not appear to be a clear strength of the company. Aireloom / Kluft's claims about its mattresses tend to be factual, substantiated and reflective of customer experience. Material and design specifications are often provided, but layer thickness is often absent. The disclosing of specifications allows consumers to know what they are paying for and helps them to comparison shop. Aireloom mattresses have been made since the 1940s; in 2004, E. S. Kluft & Company purchased Aireloom.




Better Business Bureau rating E. S. Kluft & Company, LLC which owns Aireloom has an "A+" with the BBB. The company has had 10 complaints filed against it in the past three years. This number is about average for a mattress company of its size. SLTD (Sleep Like The Dead) company rating of "B-" for Aireloom / Kluft is determined by averaging the above company ratings.This rate is significantly above average compared to innerspring beds overall (64%) and slightly above average compared to all beds overall (73%) which includes innerspring, foam, latex, air, futon.
