ILC Hire provides an opportunity to trial equipment to determine its suitability prior to purchase, assists those whose rapidly changing needs makes equipment purchase impractical, and meets short-term needs such as post surgery. ILC Hire provides access to a wide range of equipment & daily living products including: There are no restrictions on who can use our services, however we do recommend seeking the support of a relevant health care professional when hiring some types of equipment. This can include mobility aids, disability aids, equipment for the elderly and other daily living products in Perth or Western Australia. Our hire fees for all equipment including both disability and mobility aids currently range between $15 – $250 for a 4 week period.




Additional charges may apply for courier/postage fees as well as for the repair and replacement of damaged or lost goods. One week minimum hire charge applies to all small and mid size items and a two week minimum hire charge to large items. ARE accepts no responsibility for any injury caused or sustained through the use of items hired. The client is to return all equipment clean and in good working condition, other than what would be considered as normal wear and tear, any damage caused while equipment is on hire, will be charged for and deposit may be forfeited.




It is also the responsibility of the hirer to return items to ARE or to telephone and request collection. Hire charges will continue until items are returned or a collection request is made. As long as you bring it back, eventually! If, after receiving your hire item, you need to hire it out for longer, just contact us and we’ll see if we can help. Maybe you need to keep that wheelchair rental a little longer! We take payment—made in advance—by cash, EFT or credit.

If you’d like your item delivered, we’re happy to help. $15 delivery and $15 pickup fee, for smaller items (such as walkers, frames and crutches) $25 delivery and $25 pickup fee, for larger items (such as lift chairs) We’ll deliver to Perth and surrounding suburbs – the greater Perth metropolitan area. We’ll get it to you by the end of the following business day. So for example, if you organise a wheelchair rental early on Monday, we’ll be able to deliver it to you by late Tuesday afternoon.
