Garage Door Part/Accessory Type: are these kits available in the store? My local store is located in Burlington Washington The track is 2" depth from front to back of track. It should work well even on thicker doors. You may have to install attaching screws on the front and rear of track instead of the center due to the non-solid wood layer in the center of your door. There are ample number of high quality screws to install the track as described in the instructions. I hope you buy and install this kit with great success. Mine works perfectly !
