Thick clouds cover the sky the daylight soon turns into a heavy storm shaking the small ship where captain Marchand struggles to keep his ship on its route, while his two passengers two young boys are weeping in the cabin, heading to Semarang.

 Sailing on Java sea isn't that easy. Said Marchand to the crying boys. What were you two thinking? Come with me here just to record a youtube documentary. You guys are funny!

Finding a bay to port, they get off their ship and start walking in the pouring rain.

 I might be cold - Said Laurence one of the boys.

Captain Marchand looks at him and keeps walking to Semarang, a large city on the east coast of Java island while they walk Marchand tells them his plans.

We are heading west to Yogyakarta on the other side of the java island, there are myths about a speaking cave, some people tell those stories about this cave for generations. So I need to check these myths and show them that there no reason to fear.

Captain Marchand considered himself a skeptical explorer, he never gone to school learned how to read by himself, and sailing with his dad. Captain Marchand as known in the area is a Frenchman who lived from fishing during the first half of his life. When he was 30 years old he got a volume of "The Demon-Haunted World Carl" written by Carl Sagan after that Marchand started reading more and more Sagan turning himself into a sort of illiterate skeptical man.

While they three walked they found a humble man well-known as Dodo in his locality, without hesitating to host them in his own house. There they spend the night and had a meal, and went to sleep on the floor.
