Hello World

Well a lot is going on in the world today that just really makes me disgusted with the progress of mankind. With pointless wars still going on, to the threat of terrorism and nuclear war, to 2017 racism marches. I just do not understand why we can not come to are senses about the direction life on earth should be heading. You know you can learn a lot about life by just reading some of Albert Einstein's quotes. “Weak people revenge. Strong people forgive. Intelligent people ignore.” or “If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or objects.” or my personal favorite “Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school.” In what it should really say is “Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything you learned from the Government.” But I will point the main focus of this article to what is going on with the racism marches in the United States. IT IS 2017!!!! The reason they call it history is because it was something that was in the past. I am no one special, I served my country in Afghanistan, it really opened up my eyes to how ignorant I was about my country and about the world. I did things I will never forget in that beautiful country. I grew up mainly in poverty traded off between family member's. One of my biggest influences in life was my stepfather who was a African American ( I am white ). I loved that man with all of my heart and he treated me like I was his very own blood. Bringing down statues of confederate generals is ignorant. Really I do not give a crap about it but it just shows where we are as a species and it shows that a lot of people need a productive hobby or a job. I mean really for those of you who still believe that the civil war was about slavery, you are just not correct. I do not know the correct percentage, but I can almost guarantee that more than 80% of the men fighting for the confederate never owned one single slave nor even seen a African American before they joined. They joined just like the reason men and women still join the military today. Because they are broke, down on their luck, and need new options or were forced from family pressure or government. What's going on just makes me really sad about where we are and where we are heading , and I am most of all sad for my children and the children that will be taking over from this generation. Let us stop focusing on the history of hate and focus on the future of working together as human race to advance are self's to continue the existence of the the generations to come. In short give yourself a purpose, go do something that will make a difference in a positive way and not something that will create negativity. We should be focusing on alternative energy, exploration for new worlds, technology to better are self's and creating a world where no one is homeless and everyone has a purpose. These words that I typed will probably never mean anything, and the world will never change because of it. But it makes me feel like I at least tried to make a difference.
