Software Engineer

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience of front-end development
• Experience with nodejs
• Experience with react/angular
• Experience with microservices

Would be a plus:

• 1+ years of experience with Golang
• Experience with gRPC and protobuf
• Experience with message broker (Kafka, Rabbitmq, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Help the team accomplish the technical vision
• Build and document libraries for future use
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Mentoring and coaching developers to improve their ability and drive technical excellence in those around them
• Work with other team members and stakeholders

About the project:

Fleet management for vessels and power plants for one of the Europe's transportation industry giants, a multimillion-dollar company. 

• The platform collects live data from sensors connected to the equipment and assets, with real-time analysis and visualization of the data lake in the UI
• Predictive maintenance powered by machine learning, implementing configurable alerts and thresholds
• Alerts and notifications can be set up via a wide system of rules and alert templates for faster and more efficient data analysis
• Our team is responsible for the entire Software Engineering cycle, from the initial software design and planning to ground-up implementation, automated testing, analytics, production rollout, and maintenance
• Scrum Agile development framework
