Was a great jumping off point to explore the southern part of Bali. Loved the breakfast every morning. The pool was wonderful. We had a couple nice massages in the spa. Lovely little boutique hotel.Horrible way to end an otherwise amazing vacation. Being the last of 4 hotels I stayed at in Bali, in different regions, I was appalled at the lack professionalism by the staff. So many unexpected fees and very little actions conducted to alienate my unhappiness. Staff seems to think that guests are made of money and charged me more than they initially told me things were (double taxi fare than that of original estimate). After returning from my trip with their driver, they called to tell me they "were sorry" but the rate was double that and promptly, yet casually, asked how they should charge it. No accommodations offered as reconciliation until I shared my disappointment and unhappiness at which case the poor driver had to settle for less money rather than the hotel paying the difference. After all of this, they still charged me for a late check out which was not my fault after that ordeal!
