TRADITIONS

On the first day of school kids get a Schultüte. Also on New Year´s Eve german peopels watch "Dinner for one" it´s a short movie about a woman and her servant. Another thing on New Year´s Eve is that people go out on midnight and make fireworks. There are also festivals like the "Maiwiesn" there are many cool atractions and food stalls. There is for example another one which is calles "Oktoberfest" and it´s in munich.

CULTURAL

The origins go back to the time of the Celts, the Germanic tribes and Romans. Since the Middle Ages, German culture has had many personalities that shaped styles and epochs. Germany has a long history of music. Germany had folk music for large parts of the 20th century.

HISTORY

The German history begins with the emergence of Roman-German royalty. The Roman-German Empire developed early from eastern France and parts of Lorraine. The early modern state-building process played particularly on the level of the individual territories. The Thirty Years' War and others in the 16th and 17th centuries led to demographic shifts beyond Germany and to changed religious and political constellations.
