Genesis.

Appreciative. The Character trait we will be learning this week. We know what it means but do we truly understand how to appreciate. Appreciate does mean to recognize the full worth of. Mostly when we speak of appreciating, the thought that comes to mind is people. Today we shall learn it is more than people we appreciate.

Life is the greatest gift we have received& should appreciate. Job 33:4 says: The Spirit of God hath made me and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. To show our appreciation of life, we appreciate the Giver of life. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, Whatever may be your task work at it heartily as something done for the Lord and not men.

Challenge your child today. How is it that she appreciates God's gift of life? When she's told to read or go to school, does she do it because she is happy? Is she happy to be alive to go to 🏫? Is she happy to read because God has given her life to be able to see& read🌝📖?

Many are the times children obey their parents obey their parents to make them happy. However, teach your child that we obey our parents to make God most happy. Because God has given us life blessing us with parents. This teaches your child to appreciate the life she has received by thanking God in prayer for life.

As you challenge your child with the above questions, challenge your child further to memorize the scriprures she has learnt today. Ask your child to share with you examples on how we can appreciate God for the life He has given us.

God's gift of life is great. Rejoice today in it✨💫.
