My local store is located in Burlington Washington The track is 2" depth from front to back of track. It should work well even on thicker doors. You may have to install attaching screws on the front and rear of track instead of the center due to the non-solid wood layer in the center of your door. There are ample number of high quality screws to install the track as described in the instructions. I hope you buy and install this kit with great success. Mine works perfectly ! I'm confused on the length of the track supplied Yes, the kit comes with four 48" tracks. is this gonna fit any door manufacture? I do not know. If the door is about 16 ft. wide and made of wood or aluminum with about a 3" wide base on the bottom, it should work fine. My garage door was a lift up aluminum measuring 16 ft. and I had about 4" left over after the install. I had about a 3" to 4" wide base on the bottom of the door. 16 ft. We have had other customers install the Tsunami Seal Garage Door Threshold Kit on epoxy floors with no issues, but we cannot guarantee the outcome of each installation.
