Home must be in an NFC lending area. For a purchase and refinance loan, the maximum 1st mortgage loan amount is $180,000 (up to 80% loan to value), and the maximum 2nd mortgage loan amount is $45,000 (up to 15% loan to value).
The 2nd mortgage is at 2% interest for 10 years. NFC's maximum borrowed amount for home purchase and refinance loans, not including the forgivable loan, is $225,000. For a home improvement loan, the maximum mortgage loan amount is $180,000 (up to 95% loan to value). For home purchase loans, possible closing cost assistance of up to $2,000 or $2,500 available in most of lending areas (Determination of whether or not closing cost assistance is received and if so, the amount, cannot be made until after a complete application and supporting documentation has been reviewed by NFC.) The forgivable renovation and closing cost funds are five year forgivable mortgages with 20% forgiven for each year of owner-occupancy. Eligible home repairs include but are not limited to the following: Property repairs and improvements CANNOT be completed prior to closing on the NFC loan. NFC will NOT reimburse for work completed prior to the NFC loan closing. Homeowners will get bids from independent contractors for the proposed home improvements. Felt like I made the right decission based on his knowledge friendly associates helped personally for me to find the products for which i was seeking. i did not spend an exorbitant time span is this store, but while i was present, i was treated respectfully and it mattered that i got what i came there to get by the associate that helped me. He helped me during my whole visit and was fun as well as very helpful and willing to get me what I needed. I enjoyed EVERY part of my visit to the store! When walking in I was immediately greeted by a nice lady named Jean (I think that was her name) and she said hello and asked if she could help me find anything. It was great and attentive since I was coming in specifically to get a key made and didn't know where to go in the store. She walked me in and gave specific directions so I knew just where to go. I was then approached by Ron who was friendly and helped me right away.
While he was making the keys we made small talk and joked around which made ths visit fun. I was happy with my service so then I asked him more questions I had about various powertools and then flooring/stains. When giving me information about the wood stains he even had someone from that department come over (kenny & lori) so that I got the best information for my needs. I had fun and felt every employee was kind and helpful. I actually am going to need to be back in soon for some items and am now looking forward to my next visit to this store and hope to see these employees again!! Thank you for the personalized customer service that was not only good and friendly but fun. I work in retail and truly appreciate good customer service when I receive it! This store is awesome ! They treat you like they care, not just another $$$$ The associate who helped me find a new blade for my miter saw was extremely helpful. He insured I was getting the correct tool for my project by verifying with another department person who was knowledgeable about my project that this blade would be appropriate for my project.
