I called several other garage door repair companies and he beat them all by $25. He arrived at our home in less than 24 hours from the time we called in his Sears service van. He was done in less than 30 min. It was obvious he has done this professionally for years. We would highly recommend! Tomas was extremely informative and professional. He explained everything that needed to be done to repair the current unit. He also went over the total cost to replace unit with a new one. Upon discussing repair with my don I would prefer to have Tomas come back and repair unit if my son wishes to. THIS REPAIR PERSON SHOULD BE TRAINING OTHER REPAIR REPRESENTATIVE. HE WAS THAT GOOD. The garage door hinge is still making a popping noise. The door hinge need to be readjusted. The repair was completed promptly, the tech was highly professional, great job. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He made very good suggestions for the repair work done. He was very polite and courteous.
When I called to schedule the repair service, I was transferrd 5 times and spoke with 6 service reps. Each rep was very confused by my request to get my garage door repaired. One rep actually told me that Sears doesn't repair garage doors. I had to tell her that Sears installed the door. When I finally found a rep who could schedule my service, it took one week for the appointment. Sears technician (Vinny) has been to my home once before to work on garage door opener. Both times he was prompt, courteous, and throroughly explained repair process. A very good technician and employee. I can feel at ease now that I know a knowledgable repair man has fixed our garage door. Ryan was a great tech , he took apart the opener and checked everything inside and outside and checked the drive chain to make sure that the opener worked correctly. I would definitely recommend him and Sears over any other garage repair dealers who are not as professional as Sears.. The technician, Robert Helton, was very pleasant, helpful, and professional. He repaired the garage door opener expeditiously and explained why it hadn't worked properly. He also checked the chain mechanism and the door itself and showed me how to manually work the door should I need to do that in the future. I was very pleased with this repair work. Roberto was very courteous and explained the details of what he was doing. He also pointed out a repair I might consider having done (replacement of the bottom panel of my door) and asked the office to follow up with me on this. Someone did follow up with me and since replacement of the bottom panel is not an option and I would have to replace the door, I decided that I can wait. Every thing the tech demostrated was helpful, he knew how to do his job even if his eyes were shut. Very knowledgeable, took time out to explain every detail about the install process.

He took great care to make sure my garage door was repaired correctly. He explained the repair proccess. The Sears garage installer (Frank Lessor) did an outstanding job and was very professional! He arrived on-time, installed the new opener and door in a timely manner and cleaned the garage area of debris after he was done working. Overall, I will recommend Sears repair services to other friends and family. The technician was friendly and made an extra effort to get the parts we needed to repair the door same day. I went online Sunday night to ask for an appointment and received a call Monday morning to schedule and the repairman was at our home by noon. He diagnosed the issue and made the repair in a courteous timely manner with a full explanation on everything he did. Needless to say, extremely satisfied.
