If garage door lubricant isn't readily available, several other lubricants will get the job done. Vacuum the garage door track area if it is dirty. Wipe the inside of the track with rags to help remove caked-on debris. Apply a drop of engine oil to the inner area of each roller, then move the garage door to open and closed position several times to work the oil into the bearings.
