I'm a mechanically inclined person but this was not something I felt comfortable doing with no experience. We were in a pinch since it was the weekend. I was given his number by a family member and gave him a call. He was out two hours later and replaced two springs, and two cables which were going to fail soon also. When he was done, my door was as good as new (and better than how I bought my house 6 years ago). He took the extra time to oil everything, even areas that had nothing to do with why I needed to call him. He also took the time to tell me what I can do to keep the door functioning better.5-stars is as high as I could rank... This business card is definately going in my book for preferred contractors! I called the Garage Door Man (Mario Badia) at 10:00 AM on Tuesday before the Thanksgiving Holidays and left a message requesting service. He called me back stating that he would be out in about an hour. Within three hours he had come out completed the job and well on his way. Not only did he demonstrate competence in the completion of the job, he was very pleasant and his prices were reasonable. He completed additional adjustment to the garage door openers and provided insight on ways to avoid / prevent future problems and issues. Unlike other places that once came out and presented me with a very high end estimate for a similar job.

I called him ...I called him on a Saturday and he was out here on Sunday morning fixing my garage door without any service call fee! He quoted me a very low price on the phone and after finding way more wrong with my door than he had expected, he still only charged me what he quoted. Very thorough and tells you exactly what you need and what you don't need. Buy him a bottle of Coke and a bag of chips and he will be forever grateful.
